ivor the engine 2011 version, the end would have been All the goods are a mile back down the line . when they got there some chavs have nicked them lol
Happy memories of the last childrens show on BBC1 just before the news at 5.45...loved those little 5 or 10 minute programmes like Ivor, Capt Pugwash, Willo etc...happy carefree memories...wish I was 7 again...not 40!
Through sentimental story telling and atmospheric illustrations, Postgate and Firmin succeded in giving their lovely little loco a real heartfelt personaility and more than a little humanity. Oh, the good old days.....
Such a delightful series, I remember it well though watching it now fills me with sadness that those days are gone....This was a magical moment in television history and it will never be bettered - well, not any more. Sheer nostalgia - thank you SO much for uploading this.
Simply magical. So many memories come flooding back watching this. Have you noticed that everyone commenting on this are polite, friendly and can spell correctly? Is it me??
LOL lso loved this, Mrs Figgins uncle been for dentist appointment and been stuck for three weeks, - complete with new teeth LOL - and yes frglee, wonderfully drawn animations. far better than anything today.
This one is rather beautiful I think...check out the buildings in the snow, really nicely drawn and atmospheric. You do not need computer animation for a nice toon but you do need artists with imagination and ability.
Strange wistful melancholy in the beginning. So beautiful. It was alright for children to see emotions in stories in those days...

Nice, still looks good today. Seems to be done like southparkwith cut-outs instead of cell drawn animation.
