  • i've seen a few thousand races in my long lifetime and in only about 20 of them have i seen a horse lose the lead turning for home and then rebreak to get it back and win. it takes an extremely rare talent to accomplish this.....he's all heart baby.

  • "Actually" he's a gelding Im not sure if your involved in the horse racing business and know about training and riding horses, or if you just watch the sport on tv. Cause you would understad that by holding a horse back, just enough to still have that extra gear at the final stretch isn't forcing him 2do what hedoesnt like. it's keeping them in the race to allow the horse to finish strong and win. They have to know when and where, it's working with what thehorse loves 2do

  • *Shrugs* Maybe PP is one of those horses that gets agitated when held up. Instead of running nice and cool, he'd be throwing his head around and spending his energy fighting his jockey. That could be why they don't try to pull him back.

  • Whats the point of having such a big lead at the begining, all that does is tire the horse out at the fina stretch. So what if this horse comes back to win, she barely wins each time by a nose. They should consider pacin her so she can give more at the end. The Arlingtn million was a joke, she could of had a chance if she didn't take that huge lead at the start of the race. She got lucky winning the other races, cause she ate dirt while the pace setters passed her and took the lead and win.

  • It's better to let him (it's a horse, actually) run the way he likes the most than trying to force him to do what he doesn't like. If you force him he will get tired more quickly.

  • This horse has a heart bigger than the sun

  • THIS HORSE LOVES MONMOUTH!!!

  • notice how he came back to the horse and caught him after he switched leads, to the right lead? he switched leads after he was passed and that gave him the recovery gear... really a good example of how switching leads can help a horse get the next wind... really good horse and all class

  • Of course, you're all aware by now of his freakish, record-shattering performance in the '09 UN.

As much as he loves Monmouth, theres not much left for him there this season [the only remote possibility might be the $200,000 G3 Oceanport, 1 1/16, to be run on 8/02; I'm guessing he could win that race running backwards]. I'd like to see PP replicate his Monmouth efforts at other tracks. Most of all, I'd like to see him do it at the Breeeders Cup.

  • This horse fooled me! He starts like a rabbit & then lets the other horses catch him. Then he has a gear at the end thats as good as I've ever seen! Keep it up Presious Passion the sky's the limit!

  • He did this at Gulfstream! Find Presious Passion suicidal mission G2 Gulfstream on youtube.

  • thanks for the upload. that horse has a ton of heart.

  • He sure loves this track!

  • sweet!!

  • He is really talented, I hope he keeps it up. I saw him on Haskell day last summer and he was badly beaten, but he seems to be improving.

  • That was a fantastic race! To come back and win in 1:47:1 was unreal.

  • damn u right

  • Precious Passion is amazing! Thanks for the upload, hope to see the UN Handicap up soon.
