Dude, if I could play like you, I'd be in love with myself, have a band, be making music around the world and you'd see me on MTV's CRIBS. Since I can't play like that, you do it bro. Make more videos PLEASE ! (before I have to pay for them on iTunes) Best of luck to you !
i just got one a week ago, right after my first string change the action was so low the very basic notes(D-A-E-G) buzzed i looked for the nut for the truss and found a cone shaped bolt end, dont know how to adjust and am thinking of taking it back
how have you found the Martin D12X1? I played one in a music store a few weeks back and loved it. have you found anything you dislike about it after owning it, because I have serious GAS over this model.
haha thanks. i freaking love this guitar!! i cant put it down... i had to change the strings on it twice in a week i played it so much. but it just has AMAZING tone for the price. i would defiantly recommend this guitar to anyone, defiantly worth $600.
that's great to hear. I'd basically decided this was a guitar I had to have (even though I was looking for a 6-string!), but it's good to see you still like it after the honeymoon period.
one question: you have it in open G for this vid, but I'm more of a standard/half-step down kind of a guy. how have you found tuning stability at these pitches?
yea i only put it in E and open G for slide but i normally have it in standard, half-step, and even lower for SRV/Hendrix stuff. but these tuners are great and very rarely slip. get it! you wont be disappointed lol
@superflea72 haha i was gonna buy the martin 6 string for 499 i dont member the model but then i found d12x1 at a music store and picked it uor same price and im in love

Nice job...but slow down! Sound out the notes, give them life, let them breath. Notes have soul.
Maybe you were in a hurry just to do the video, but even it is just a 2-minute video, make the most of it.
Otherwise, nice job! I'm also admiring the wall paper you have in your room! ;-)
