I have watched this clip countless times, I really should get out more I know, However with the magical, bleak northumberland landscape behind Him, and the genuine dialogue between Keith and His guest, this clip really is a gem.....
every now and then i watch a keith floyd clip as an ode to my wonderful mother ,she adored him ,i picture them having a drink together on the other side ..cheers !
The sauce the Romans used was called "garum" I believe, and indeed was fermented fish bits and pieces. Ghastly. Thai fish sauce would be a modern equivalent. RIP dear KF.
Absolute genius. This man, despite His flaws, We all have them! was a gem and a first of His kind. He not only took the roll of Cook away from the kitchen and from the WIFE, (has He so frequently put it), He also added theatrics and humour, in a time when most people cooking food looked like they wanted to kill you not nuture you!. I have spent many an happy hour with glass in hand, watching Keith, Drinking and cooking, fumbling and fluffing His way to a finished dish.. LONG LIVE THE KING
I love cooking and eating hot food outdoors in cold weather. Unfortunately, I don't often get that opportunity. It's usually just "being" outdoors in freezing cold weather.
i am confused, did Keith Floyd, the original, not just pass on????????? Is this his son with the same name? Carrying on the torch perhaps, just not sure and wondering the deal of this name singularity..........

great cook, but it's a wonder that both Clive and Richard fought the temptation to punch him on the nose for telling them how to do their jobs lol!

BBC should've hired this guy to play Dr. Who. He acts more eccentric than any of the other guys who played the Doc.

And to think, Thai Fish Sauce (Nouc Mam) is outstanding. But boiled in red wine? Ahhhh, I doubt that. No saving that meal, lol.

Can anyone identify the music that plays while we're looking at Hadrian's Wall and its surrounds, and then again at the end of the video?

@EddieTheFishReturns You have probably already found the name but if not it is called Viva Vlad and it is by The Stranglers.
