  • Exactly how television programmes should be made, unlike the utter garbage we have today.

  • he's such a wonderful mess, culinary wikipedia and passionate foody....

    gotta love this guy.

wish we had tv cook's like in the dreadful bore that is the food network.

  • I have watched this clip countless times, I really should get out more I know, However with the magical, bleak northumberland landscape behind Him, and the genuine dialogue between Keith and His guest, this clip really is a gem.....

  • great cook, but it's a wonder that both Clive and Richard fought the temptation to punch him on the nose for telling them how to do their jobs lol!

  • Just read his autobiography .." shaken not stirred" Highly recomended !. A big insight .

  • Anthony Bourdain's culinary father :)

  • lol did they have bottles or wine skins?

  • absolute legend!!

  • love this!, thanks steve LOL

  • An English attempting to cook?! LOL

  • @mikes7ke An american attempting to be funny?! LOL

  • BBC should've hired this guy to play Dr. Who. He acts more eccentric than any of the other guys who played the Doc.

  • ..one of life's true genius' .... I miss him a lot...

  • haha the way he chops the garlic is genius

  • i love him...

  • And to think, Thai Fish Sauce (Nouc Mam) is outstanding. But boiled in red wine? Ahhhh, I doubt that. No saving that meal, lol.

  • Ha, 1:53, Keith kills a dog with a plate.

  • one of my heros

  • He wanted to whoop his ass for talking shit about his dish.

  • The sauce the Romans used was called "garum" I believe, and indeed was fermented fish bits and pieces. Ghastly. Thai fish sauce would be a modern equivalent. RIP dear KF.

  • this is hilarious! - haha! love keith, rip!

  • Anyone have the recipe for the Centurion Sauce?

  • Sorry to say but he does seem pissed

  • 8:10 - 8:34 is classic!!!

  • Can anyone identify the music that plays while we're looking at Hadrian's Wall and its surrounds, and then again at the end of the video?

  • @EddieTheFishReturns You have probably already found the name but if not it is called Viva Vlad and it is by The Stranglers.

  • Nice jokes, references, an overall charming and light-hearted little programme. It's not just about warming your stomach, but your heart, hehehe.

  • "armani togas"

  • Absolute genius. This man, despite His flaws, We all have them! was a gem and a first of His kind. He not only took the roll of Cook away from the kitchen and from the WIFE, (has He so frequently put it), He also added theatrics and humour, in a time when most people cooking food looked like they wanted to kill you not nuture you!. I have spent many an happy hour with glass in hand, watching Keith, Drinking and cooking, fumbling and fluffing His way to a finished dish.. LONG LIVE THE KING

  • @nighterjay Agreed...What a legend

  • @nighterjay

    Ord! (word)

  • "Feel free to be edited!" Absolute legend!

  • I love cooking and eating hot food outdoors in cold weather. Unfortunately, I don't often get that opportunity. It's usually just "being" outdoors in freezing cold weather.

  • People or birds? - Floyd you are "simply the best"

  • great clip.....take care keith, your missed by us all..........

  • Love this guy what a cracker...... he does not give fuck but actually really cares for the food.... take slurp Keith - RIP!!!

  • forget gordon ramsey, jamie oliver and the whole lot, keith floyd rules them all!!

loved how they just chucked their plates away in the end lol

  • @shozee82 +1 - totally agree. Before all this fancy smamshy TV Network or food tv there was Floyd - just brilliant!

  • I hope the BBC will release all the great Floyd on.. series (Floyd on Fish, France, etc.) on DVD. Long over due!

  • i am confused, did Keith Floyd, the original, not just pass on????????? Is this his son with the same name? Carrying on the torch perhaps, just not sure and wondering the deal of this name singularity..........

  • @FallingWaterLaborato lol that was when Keith was younger

  • They did not eat their food properly. You eat food with your fingers.

  • "Try and tell kids that these days and they won't believe you..."
