Yes, it is possible to use windowsmoviemaker to make animated .gif images but it takes me a while & i use another image program to make the finnished product. i normally save it as a series of layers that replace each-other as a gif image format

Yes Windows Movie Maker can be used to make giffs, But from my experience from I.T services and computer engineer i recommened you do it as this guy. Why becuase in Windows Movie Maker its only a default to make a Giff through it is very hard, sometimes you have to enter codes and you dont see digital screening of the size, so therefore you convert it and then if it doesnt come out how you want it you have to start all over agian. So best to keep it the easy way !!

Sometimes using tomany layers can also make your giff Lagg/Glitch. My point of you ill try to push them into each other over lap a bit takes time yes, but you can always change your speed of picture changeing and make your pictures even have a transaction effect. Give your picture a awesome look, ill upload some of mine later on. If you have any questions ask me. im bound to know through my over all I.T experiences and computer services :) hope you have fun
