  • I love both this and Sinatra's version. The only reason I prefer this one is because the Sinatra version is overplayed.

  • you r all a bunch of facists.my sid and nancy marks were carved in .decaded ago..pussy ass tatoos.wankers.!!!!!

  • Scorsese got so much slack for using this version.

  • @roberine Oh, I bet he did. Though I hate this version, it was the appropriate choice for the film. Sinatra's version is about a man with regrets... but still feels that he maintained his dignity, which is definitely not what was portrayed at the end of Goodfellas.

  • wtf this song was in the movie? i dont remmber that?

  • @nevermindlupe At that final scene, dude.

"I'm an average nobody...I get to live the rest of my life like a schnook."

    Queue song.

  • I don't know nuthin' about bein' a rat

  • I love it when Pesci shoots the at the camera

  • i'm trying really, really hard not to be a music snob.... but it's just wrong to sing Sinatra's song like this. this is Sid Vicious paying tribute and respect to probably the greatest singer of all time? i don't think so. shouldn't have even touched it. the rest of the songs on the soundtrack are absolute gold.

  • @SavingSmilesForYou

It wasn't a tribute to Sinatra, that's the point. Sid was a punk and he covered this song like this to piss off people like you.

  • @Nickp3107 I don't understand that. I just think it's wrong to take someone else's work and do that with those intentions.

  • @SavingSmilesForYou Well, Sinatra's version sort of betrayed the original French lyrics as well. Music is about reinvention!

  • @lptomtom You are right. It is. It's just hard to take it that it's fair game for artists to do that with each other's work... And I do think that Sid's version does fit perfectly into the scene of the movie. But standing alone as a song, I hate to be so blunt, but I just find it horrible. I just automatically saw it as a disrespect that someone could be so indelicate with Sinatra's song. But I guess he has balls to do it his way. lol

  • @SavingSmilesForYou Its ment to be horrible and disrespectful, its what punk was all about.

  • @almanacofsleep haha That is true! Though I don't like it... Reminds me of those kids in school I couldn't stand. lol

  • Two people suck. Why are you going to look up things you dont like and take the comment to comment on it? Oh well, if its worth their time (:

  • Perfect way to close out a great movie with a badass song

  • I ordered spaghetti with marinaria sauce, and all I got was egg noodles and ketchup.

  • "I get to live the rest of my life like a schnook"

  • @DaemonicNimrod Bang Bang Bang

  • @ohiostmarine29203 ...Falls face first in a plate full of egg noodles and ketchup

  • @DaemonicNimrod

Excellent version!!! Rocks and is fun to listen to ... Sinatra sucks. Boring. Overplayed. This version kicks arse; like Joan Jett and the Blackhearts version of ''The Little Drummer Boy''.

  • in what scene that song appears??

  • @Punkeerr end credits

  • SID!!!!!!!!

  • jajajajajaja esta bueno jajaajajaja.

  • Great song to close a great movie!!!!!

    Excellent!!!!!

  • @Gliskor this one of the best films ever and the song is nice too
