The cloud-apps thing is what's seriously got me the most stoked. I think we'll be seeing some heavy use of these devices in the VERY near future... but I am concerned with data being held hostage especially as global currencies become more unstable, and information becomes more valuable! After all, wrecking somebody's credit score or even suspending their credit/bank account is one thing... but freezing access to their data is another! Will we see a 'cyber repo-man' emerge from all of this?

After living in China for the last 3 years, I'm seeing the gap close pretty darn fast in the tech sector. It's downright scary to imagine how fast we'll see advances coming out of the PRC in the next couple of years. All I can suggest to everyone is: get familiar with China, the culture, and its languages. Don't hate. Communication will be essential to keeping things under control, on your terms.
