I've been seeing seasons 2&3 lately for the first time and thought it was amazing, but seeing this tells me that I won't like seeing season 5-6 ! Yeah, horse's ride in the sky...Yeah sure ! thanks for watching! :) I'm not sure where you can find the series online though, other than from torrents. Try using a Torrent client and downloading from a torrent dump site. Some Xena torrents are still floating around on the internets.

ah. Well. First of all you need to find yourself some software. The one I use is called Sony Vegas 8.0. But there's also iMovie which is fairly user/beginner-friendly. Then its just a case of ripping Xena episodes and music. For that, you can use ImToo DVD Ripper. All of these programs are available online for download, and if you snoop around, you can find Xena stuff too I'm sure.

Xena and Gabrielle were lovers. This has been acknowledged by both actresses, and others who worked on the show. Also, in an interview, Lucy Lawless stated very clearly that Xena was gay.

Everyone was subject to the sway--sexual or otherwise--of the Gods. And sometimes, back in the days when XWP was still filming, each female lead was given male romantic interests to keep corporate happy. It was probably also to keep the hopes of the viewers who wanted a bi or straight Xena up.

I think Gabrielle was gay, and Xena bisexual. I like to think the characters of XWP represented various sexual orientations (well... as far as convention was willing to push it). It's funny that bisexuality still garners such strong opposition. Much of the world is still stuck on dichotomous thinking. I agree. And even if it was all about sex, does that matter? It shouldn't. What bothers me about the 'it's about love' debate, is that it seeks to make 'acceptable' or 'sympathy-worthy' victims of prejudice while people deemed unacceptable or unworthy (i.e. people who aren't in love, who do like the sex alone) are then stigmatized. People are animalistic at best and sexuality is fluid. It shouldn't be just about love or sex, and sexuality should NEVER be used as a measure of worth.
