@billym0352 if you go to the matrox website, there is a "specification" chart.. you tell it what computer you have,and it tells you which device you need.. i think the MBA is an option for the new one

@player0092 which do I recommend or which do I use? I use Dell EP197F I think it the model.. they are great monitors.. nice a cheap.. BUT I recommend apple cinema displays.. they are awesome.. I just can't afford them!

Has your macbook had problems due to overheating?
Using a temperature monitor app I found that the CPUs temp jumped about 15 degrees fahrenheit when I had it closed, opposed to when I had it open.

@dfv321 i've never had an issue with overheating.. i keep my computer in a ventilated area so that the natural air can keep it cool
