My first fiance George was volunteer Fire Captain of his local fire department. but also was an executive for a firm in the south tower...his office was right where the plane hit the south tower.. but for some reason he called in to his office around 7 am and told his secretary he felt like working from home that morning...Then got called to the scene as a firefighter . I miss him every day.
May God be with you all, especially @cookiemonster12348, please know that every Canadian and American's spirit is with all who lost someone or felt so helpless when this happened.

çI have a friend who survided 9/11, he was never the same again, very very bad, so much cruelty to whom ever is responsible for those acts of terrorism.
I can only imagine how much hell people went through and still today have the same affect from the event. IN Gods holy name let us not go through this again.
I am Spanish, Spanish royal air force pilot, fought in Iraq and Afghanistan along with many brave American pilots, I can only say it was an honor to fight for all those who could not defend themselves that day,
Please accept my condolences and respectful prayers to the people who died and those unjustly imprisoned, tortured and killed, since the events of that fateful day.
Even though India is seperated by land and ocean, in tragedy we are united.
I am making a video with reference to your post. I wish to use the post , i have found a song which perfectly conveys the sadness anger and rage of the events of that fateful day. I will credit your name as source. Thanks
I am glad someone posted something like this. I lost a fairly large amount of my family due to the attacks of 9-11. The attacks were brutal and sad. The day I saw those towers crashed was the day part of my heart died. I pray for those without bodies to bury, I hope everyone is able to bury their loved once. I have been organizing 9-11 rallies contact me if you are interested.
Beautiful tribute, and song. To all the citizens of the world who embraced our Country at this worst moment, Thank you for showing the MOST amazing Love and fellowship, you poured out to us Americans, in our time of need. We thank you and LOVE you. All those who perished, or were 'left' behind without their loved ones, our hearts will ALWAYS be with you. xoxK
I don't how many others have said this but I'm Iranian and contrary to popular belief the people don't accept this form of violence whether it is truly a war or an act of conspiracy. But I think I can represent most of the Middle Eastern population by offering my condolences to the families of those who died that day. A war of politics shouldn't include innocent citizens but it unfortunately does and it is people like you and me who are also directly affected by its consequences.
I'm a career firefighter in Australia, and 9-11 still breaks my heart. To the mothers, fathers, wives and children of the 343 FF's that perished, you are in our hearts and your hero's will always be remembered, because they are our hero's too....... may the 2819 innocent people that died that day RIP. God will not forget......
This was America's worst day... erm... in the history of all America... For that one day, and the rest of that week, America came to gether as a nation. Enemies became friends, collegues became brothers... Families were more united than ever before. God bless America!
Wonderful video great song choice I will never forget that day 3 days before my 15th birthday now i'm 23 in the navy. God bless everyone effected never forget.
I will never forget that day when I saw the 2nd crashing into the WTC . . . God bless America , the people who died and survived in WTC and that proud firemen who have done unforgetable !!! Remember the victims of 9/11 !!!
God Bless America...We Will Never Forget....We Will Never Fall To The Evil Being Behind This Horrible Attack....Keep Your Prayers With ALL The Heros And Their Families!!!!
We never did nothing to let this happen to us,but god took thoes people in there for a reason I dont know why he took them but it was for a good reason (please dont take this the wrong way)
I still can happened all them years ago, it all seemed like a bad dream. I was there when it happened I was only 12. I had never ever been that scared before in my life.
My Uncle Was One Of The Lucky Ones' he was ment to be staying in the tower there. but he missed the bus, and had to stay in Austraila for the night.. when this happend i cryed as we all knowen at home. our uncle was there. then we got a phone call from him. / i hope anyone that helped plain this burns in hell. / I still cry over it as my best mate was killed in the 9/11
i wqas at school when it happned they told the teachers to turn off all radios tvs ext so we wouldnt know what happned i was only in kindergarden and my mom came and picked me up early i was wondering she came home and turned on the tv and i saw it i didnt know what it was but my mom was crying and stuff and i didnt know then but now i do and im crying writing this right now so if i misspelled its because my tear messed up my sight and i hit the worng key :(
Remembering that day always leaves a reminder in my heart. That how blessed I am, how blessed we are. Eventhough I'm from Singapore, the events of that fateful day has impacted me as much as everyone else.
Here's a tribute to all those who have sacrificed themselves on that day to save others from the 2 towers..
"YOU DON'T HAVE TO POST COMMENTS ON MY VIDEO THAT CREATE EVEN MORE HATE AND MISCOMMUNICATION THAN THERE ALREADY IS IN THIS WORLD." - Outstanding. Very well put.
Awesome job on the video, Samantha. As I'm sure it did for many who watch this video, 9/11 changed my life in so many ways. Not a day goes by where I don't think about that day and the people lost. It seems too many people forget. This is a great tribute and reminder. Thanks =o)
As a stewardess who escaped this carnage - I grieve with you. Heaven help the person who tries to take MY flight out of the air!! We might both die, but I'll rip you to shreds before we both meet out maker!!!
I am a police officer from Ireland and my heart bleeds everytime i think of the fdny/nypd and other public servants who tried to save lives on this day, and lost their ownI just hope i can be that brave if called for. such a sad heroic act from all these needless deaths.
All the public servants that was helping out during this might be fathers, uncles, mothers and even brothers.. But one thing they all got in common.. They are all heroes! "Its one of the worst thing Ive seen in my life." Indeed! Rip to all the ones that died, the sadest day in my life..
this is beautiful this was a terrible tragedy and i just hope that none forgets what happened on that day and all the firefighters and police officers and paramedics that died on that day
simper fi to the the 2,993 that died and the millons that have to live with that day that those well u cant even call them men crashed those planes but to the men of flight 93 that stood up for there country i say oorah
I was 7 years old when this happened, I remember going back home early and my parents were watching this on the news. It was a horrible day, R.I.P all those men and woman that left us on that day. :(
All of our trangressions and evil somewhere deep inside came to unfortunate fruition. Through all the years and centuries we have borne witness to unspeakable acts. This evil will never end. Our own humanity is our own curse.
It hates what it does not understand,it wars with it's own kind over meager resources and land,it kills itself over the most pitiful and meaningless reasons,
such as politics,money,and religion.
If only we were to mature to a point of tolerance and acceptance, but of course, that is not out nature.
My teacher's son was in one of the buildings when the plane hit. He was supposed to go up there but he got caught doing something else in one of the lower floors, if he had gone up there he would have died.
It's so easy to talk about for some people... but when I see a picture of the towers I can't help but think how much I wanted to see them as a kid... I'm canadian, and always wanted to go to new york, now I'll never get to see them... but it's not all selfish, because since 9/11 two years ago I've spent toe whole day creating tributes. I was so shielded from it when I was younger... and now I just want to know why? why'd they take those lives> why'd they take the towers? What did it gain them?
I remember this day very well. I was still stationed at Ft. Bragg NC. I was a month from finishing my 3 year enlistment. I was in a dress uniform inspection like we had every month. I remember not believing the person who told me until he got me to turn on the TV just in time for the second to hit. I was never more terrified, horrified, enraged, and sad than I was that day. The next day wasn't much better. It took me 3 hours to get on base, when it usually only took 20 minutes.
Thanks Friend. The Spirits of the Heroes of September are still alive. I believe, I know. In my Soul they shall be forever. I NOT forget. I WANT NOT forget!
I Was 8 When This Happened; I Can Remember Coming Home And Seeing It All Over The News So Vividly.. I Live In England.. It Was One Of The Most Shocking Things That's Ever Happened; And My Thoughts Go Out To All The People That Were Associated With The Disaster - God Bless You All.
I remember being 6 coming home from school and my moms jaw hit the floor. All i could see on the tv was people running for their lives and people screaming i thought it wasnt real. It was so confusing for me. When my mom was able to explain that it was actually happening at the time i remember feeling so...angry. The only thing that was going through at the time was, "Why would people do this?.It's not fair." Too many "whys". My kindergarten teacher lost her mom in this too.
when i was a a child i remember my mom waking us up crying telling us to come to the living room and watch the telivision. i didnt really understand what was happining. now i watch these videos................and i cry. when i think about all the people that died that one day i just know that no human being could hav done something like that.....i am fourteen years old and i say GOD BLESS AMERICA!
What a touching video. I can't forget that time. It seemed like the country was pulling together. Thanks for helping me remember how brave and unselfish we can be.
This is amazing and Samatha you should be very proud of yourself! SPECTACULAR JOB! RIP the victims of 9/11. I was in fourth grade when that happened and now that I'm older it is just starting to sink in how huge this really was.
Im from jersey & NY & the WTC were part of my childhood, my dad worked in Manhatten for 25yrs, i used 2 go 2 work with him and we would always see the towers. I was in Ny 1 month before this happened, i never thought that was the last time i would ever see them. I also couldnt imagine my dad leaving for work one morning and never to return. I finally went to Ny 3 months after 9/11 and when i got off the train i remember all the missing people posters lining the walls. RIP .... I'll never 4get..
My uncle is a firefighter in the Jersey City Fire Dept., they were called in to set up triage ceters. I think of heroes like him every time I think of this day. They did more than we can ever imagine. I thank God for people like that!
I didn´t lose anybody at 9/11 (you must know I´m from Europe-Austria) but I´m very sad when I see photos, hear or read of this terror attacks. it´s awful that so many people died.
one of the worst days in history.. may everyone who died in 9/11 continue resting and peace and god look over the family's who lost a family member or friend on that tragic day.
one of the worst day in history..no1 will ever forget this me every1 who died rest in peace and god comfort the family's that lost members and friends.
I was in second grad when this happened and none of the teachers were allowed to tell us about it. I remember my teacher starting to cry in the middle of class and being so confused. I remember nearly everyone being checked out of school, me not being one of them. The days following, bomb dogs were sniffing in the halls and we weren't allowed to go outside. When I found out what had actually happened I remember not really being able to grasp it, being so young. I'm 15 now and so glad to be here.
God Bless every single American who has lost a dear loved one/s in this tragic event. God Bless every firerighter and policeman who gave their lives to save others. God Bless are troops who are fighting to keep us safe. God Bless America.
Al-Queda Will Never Break our Bond as a Country We Have Hope that one Day Terror Will No LONGER be a Threat. R.I.P the Brave Men And Women Who Gave Their Lives.
I had just turned 6 a few days before this happened. I don't remember hearing about it at school but I remember my mom telling me about "an airplane flying into a building" and "some bad men did it". I couldn't understand why anyone would do that. I will never forget that horrible memory or day, and R.I.P. to everyone who died.
Like many others i can remember exactly what i was doing and where i was, i remember watching the second plane hit, even though i was no where near all the devestation my heart goes out to everyone involved, even though it's been 8 years now it still seems like yesterday it truly was the day that changed the world as we knew it, R.I.P .
i was in first grade when this happened. Yesterday was the 8th anniversary, so I thought I would pay remembrance not only in public with my flags, but also here. I have family in New York, quite close to the Towers. I'm so very blessed.
God bless the families of those who died. My prayers go out to you still today.
No one ever ever expected this to happen. Hundreds died in moments, in seconds. I have never seen a more cowardly evil attempt to destroy something... Sniff... great video... George Bush only regretted and was devastated by only 2 things, Hurricane Katrina, and 9/11.... RIP to everyone who died, and to all the families who lost their friends and relatives, may you guys live your lives well, and may you carry on the legacy of those who died that day....
September 11, 2001 is the day the world changed after this day the world is not what has been and will never be the same. May God bless the victims of attacks and their families
I was only seven when this happened, and I hardly understood what was happening. But now I realize exactly what it was, and whenever I see the videos and pictures of the smoking towers and their collapse, and I think of those who jumped and those who died and sacrificed themselves. It makes me cry as if I knew them all personally. I weep for all those lost and who gave their lives for others, and I am glad for those who amazingly were saved. May divine beings watch over us all and peace to all.
Tragedy, i was in new york when i was about 5, the towers still standing, and i returned last year, and it made me cry to not see the towers there. I have family who worked in there, and got out. Anyone who lost someone in this tragedy, i am so sorry for your loss. Let's bury Al-Qaeda! Never forget 9/11
i was like 6 or 7 when this happend i watched on tv i feel like a dumbass ow i said ``Dad what if it was an accident?``RIP of all those who died there
hatred is a disease and it slithers like a serpeant if there is one thing that i hope people remember from this day other then the lifes that were lost is that hatred and making them suffer more isnt the answer having hate isnt the answer. god bless
i don´t forget the people the die on this sad day ... RIP

Humanity took a pause that day.
All of our trangressions and evil somewhere deep inside came to unfortunate fruition. Through all the years and centuries we have borne witness to unspeakable acts. This evil will never end. Our own humanity is our own curse.

Mankind is such a surreal creature.
It hates what it does not understand,it wars with it's own kind over meager resources and land,it kills itself over the most pitiful and meaningless reasons,
such as politics,money,and religion.
If only we were to mature to a point of tolerance and acceptance, but of course, that is not out nature.
