  • @TourettesSyndrome1 Terrible, psychiatry & big pharma are enertwined along with the FDA its a sickening corruption & I'd recomend psychiatry an industry of death documentary to know more about what happened to your'e son. And many other peoples children, your'e not alone & my heart goes out to you!

  • Nami a big pharma front, pretending to be grassroots!

  • where is wake up america #18

  • This bothers me. I have been a big fan of this series for a while, but I'm sick and tired of hearing people attack video games. Look, if you put a kid in football, they are going to get the exact same dopamine and adrenaline rush as the kid playing the video game, but you will never hear anyone talk about football like its an addiction, when it can be just as addictive as those videogames. Also, that dopamine and adrenaline rush is essential to the development of the brain, regardless of origin.

  • I am not a psychotropic mutant. I can get off the drugs when I want to. Most people who are drugged see a real benefit from it or they refuse to keep taking it. We can think for our selves. Even when we are kids. We like it how it is.

  • As some one who protested on behalf of NAMI I would have liked to see the other half of this arguement. It's not fair to label some organization as evil with out hearing it's side of the story.

  • @togussa what other half? It's a fact NAMI gets its major funding from pharma. This has been a fact long before someone with some power decided to question it.

  • Where are they suppose to get their funding? The government? The public donations? Would you still label them as evil?

  • The thing is is that they are a front group for pharma. They do not actually advocate for people. It's absolutely possible to have a real advocacy group without taking a penny from big pharma or the government. MindFreedom International is a good example of such a group.

  • That's funny, I seem to remember attending one or more of their protest rallys. Why don't you ask around the mental health community about something, or some one before forming an opinion.

  • Because I base what I know about NAMI on the facts rather than opinions. You might want to try the same rather than blindly following an organization that does not have your best interest in mind in its activities. Heck the fact that they refer to people as "consumers" should tell you all you need to know about them.

  • Anotherwards you never actually did any research on your own, and only take what is spoon fed to you by it's detractors. No response needed.

  • this lady hs some nice favor! I like her!

  • Kids act the same throught history, there is no kid that can sit still and listen to the adult all the time. There is no adult doing that either. It is all about loothing the USA treasury and making the American people slaves. Some parents put their kids or themselves on drugs then sell the drugs in the street for money. There is organized fraud going on in a mass scale. and the government is corrupt and getting bribed for letting all this happen.

  • Kids act the same throughout history? Have a gander at the youtube video "Greatest Freakout Ever" and tell me what you think.

  • Other than that, I agree with you.

  • You have no idea how evil and corrupt the pharmaceuticals and government is. They will murder your children and won't lose a day of sleep. They are psychopats and the real mentally ill. We are their victims.

  • @candygir7 Yep. They simply figure the damage and death lawsuits into their business plan for any given drug. It's all about making money they do not care about the damage they do to people in the process.

  • thats some serious mind fuck you got there!

  • First do no harm. By seeking drug therapy first and other therapies later the medical community has got it backwards. There are real instances of mental illness and some drugs, properly used can be miraculous. Unfortunately, drugs first is the "easier" way out for those wishing to promote cheaper therapies and quick fixes. Save the drugs for where they are really necessary.

  • as a generation of people who was born "internet ready" I got a certain pleasure response from reading the encyclapedia.. so the regular school system couldn't keep me interested either.. the problem is school is not giving what is needed, and besides, human contact is overrated... as someone who was harrassed may understand. I believe that changing the entire school system to be more ballanced between creative action, social interaction and then mental interaction and the physical. NOT drugs!!

  • genius video. absolutely spot-on.

  • anyone serious here about hooking up with a 19 female please contact me

  • "We have created a generation of psychotrophic mutants" - That's a good way to put it.

  • i agree

  • be nice if kids learnt how to make thier own programmes and games in the classroom , and then take thier projects to the publishers to get it developed . not only will that teach them mathematics , programming and social skills but also a wide range of application skills and could lead them into a well paid career of CGI art and game manufacturing , better then drugging the kids to be zombies

  • it's education, not the games

  • hey bored and drinking here im 19 and just want to get some boondock tonight

  • If a kid is playing an 18+ game, The parents are not doing their job. I'm amazed that you blame the corporations, for bad parenting.

  • Comment removed

  • When you are a parent, you are responsible for your children. If a parent refuses the responsibility to monitor their children, that indicates that they are a bad parent.

Bad parents blame others, good parents take responsibility for thier children.

  • So one more time to get my point across...I think it is unhealthy the way students (especially kids whos' bodies are growing and energized) should be forced to stuff their bodies into the square angled desk and chair body position and be scolded and labeled ADHD every time they twitch, take a deep breath or lean in their chair. I think a standing easel to write on is a better idea with a stool if they want to sit down..that would free up some movement, free up the body and breath

    thanks!

  • Yes, and what about us poor saps forced to sit at desks at work? When I'm home I don't sit anywhere except the floor with either legs crossed or in the lotus position, and I find it extremely difficult to sit in a chair at work. I will sometimes sit cross legged in my work chair and some people have sent me "Are you crazy?" looks, like I'm being somehow unprofessional.

  • Thats what I do also.I only sit on the firm floor. The only comfortable position Ive found to read a book is to squat against the wall, rest my elbows on my knees as I hold the book, that way my posture stays upright & my neck & back dont get sore.I sit on the floor when at the computer so the screen/keyboard are elevated so I dont develop forward head & so my chest is open and I can get my lungs fully aerated, maintaining natural breath & my blood well oxygenated. Im not crunching in on my self.

  • Uhmm... maybe a WOW?

    Meh..

  • I have an idea about the way classrooms should change.

Instead of desks in class rooms there should be easel or upright writing structures & a chair,so kids & students of all ages can stand up & stand free in the natural flowing UN-static integrity of their bodies, not be forced into the square angled static position of a desk & chair-it is like you are cramped up and expected not to move in the current format.Hopefully someone reads this & takes it seriously cause I think its a good idea

  • Hello please send me an email and elaborate more on this subject. It sounds very interesting. Please mention pros and cons

    Thank you.

  • like a writing/drawing upright structure with a stool if a kid wants to sit or stand, maybe a tray to the side to hold pencils or books or a drink, that would keep the kids posture good and let them develop mobility & keep them from having to hold themselves rigid & static.Throughout the day they would be standing and sitting etc..=more movement, and oxygen to he brain, more physical freedom, desks are very restraining and you have to keep your head down, more fluid unrestrained range of motion

  • Desks make you crunch yourself into a seated, angular position, and the bodies movements, and position should be more fluid and circular. I picture a class room with circles on floor, in each circle is an easel or tall stand up writing/drawing structure with a stool and a tray and the kids have free movement within that circle or learning station throughout the day as they learn..they can sit & stand as they please, when they write they stand up, papers can be fastened to the board with clip.

  • In the desk/chair format you feel obliged to sit very still & awkwardly, angularly,if you try to get comfortable it looks like you are being saucy or uncaring about whats being taught when your just trying to find a comfortable natural body position. You have to be seated throughout the class,it makes the brain tired to have to hold that posture & becomes an endurance test just to sit @ the desk "properly" how can you learn optimumly if a significant portion of your energy is going towards this?

  • wow, we got way off the subject of this video, but I like this dialogue :) Why not let kids in school sit on the floor? I've seen all kinds of "lap desks" that can either rest on your knees or else something like a tray table that sits just high enough off the floor to serve as a desk while sitting.

  • thats an idea but its good to be able to stand & have full range of motion & not be required to sit, plus its a good motor coordination exercise to be able to stand up & learn to have confidence & ease in ones stance or in ones body, one can always sit on the floor if one likes but standing is something that requires balance & motor coordination & if kids cultivate this from a young age by the time they are grown they'll be more at ease in their bodies I believe. Its good to stand and think.

  • Good points. How about standing for the main portion of the day (with your suggestions) and give students the option of sitting on the floor when needed? There should be a correct balance between sitting and standing in here somewhere... but overall I agree with you. Now ... go convince the school board! :)

  • let them sit on the floor or on the stool or stand, when the are writing or drawing or painting etc.. they'd need to stand up to reach the board.many would opt to sit often while others with more energy or desire to stand could stand the whole time,I wouldn't want anyone to be overtaxed,I think standing & writing on an upright easel setup would be good for posture, imagine writing on the wall or a chalk board the plane you'd be writing on would be right in front of you so you needn't hunch over.

  • She Does look hot in this video.

  • This channel has REALLY went downhill...

    Unsubed.

  • Imagine... an entire workforce that happily accepts psychotropic drugs as wages for a day's work.

  • It sounds just like in Brave New World by Huxley ;)

  • Excellent fix the educational center not the kids by putting them on speed WTF

  • NO shit!

  • I know of a video game addict who has never held a job and his parents support him. He is going to be 29 years old very soon and has been a video game addict his entire life. I think that somehow all the video games affected him. I have nothing against some video games, I play RPGs once in a while, but some people take the obsession too far.

  • His parents have got to be the enablers of all time. That is just ridiculous.

  • My solution would simply be to stop supporting him. He needs to get his life back and consider being a professional gamer or whatever.

Any exposure to the real world would be nice for him.

It'll come naturally. I have witnessed people getting off drugs naturally when the environment is supportive and social.

  • Good subject,

What happened to this video? Looks like they compressed it down to the max, I can literally see the pixies! And the sound sucks, = /

  • The government loves us and especially our children. Now just take your medication and everything will be just fine.

  • LOL. Ignore everything. Sleep...

  • Mutants?

  • You need to get on Alex Jones, your exposure will be viral
