Imagine this: Justin Bieber has to perform live, in front of an audience, with no auto-tuner and a LIVE band, and sing in perfect harmony with someone else, and sing, and dance, and get it perfect in one single take, with NO pre-taped music tracks, and interact with the audience and then not get blown up by the pyrotechnics at the end. Think he could pull it off? Funny, EW&F has been pulling it off for almost 40 years now.

The midnight special was a time when television was stretching the limits of its stay on the air during the seventies. Believe it there was no cable for all of you that were born in the late sixties, the 70's and eighties.

Louis Satterfield with Maurice White brought EWF together and I just thought that needs to be said and heard!!!

Classic EWF. Without Maurice, they're nowhere near as good. He brought so much to the band musically, and also charismatically. Maurice was actually shy and didn't want to be the singer, but thank god he that didn't happen.
