@SeanFilms - As far as I know. There are two files on the website. The core mod (about 175 MB) and a patcher (7 MB). Did you download the wrong the file? If you have issues, email me (email in the readme). I dont like diagnosing issues via youtube comments.

Now while this mod is more aimed toward Ventrue, I would love to give Brujah a try. How does prescence work in comparison to Dominate?

As for the game itself it is one of the few things I will give my un'dying' support to. It really is a masterfully game and you should support the developers as much as you can.

@blackinque Gut instinct tells me you are being sarcastic, but just in case, make sure you have annotations turned on when you watch the video. All the details are in the annotations.

After following these instructions to instal version 1.0 of the mod (couldn't seem to get 1.4) I played through and tried to embrace Heather as a nosferatu while she was in her kinky garment. She turned into a police car!!

My problem is this. I'm not sure why but when I dowload compmod it is already extracted into a folder and the 7zip doesn't show up as an option when I right click it. Does anyone know how to fix this or if its a problem?

@scape9878 - There is an item in the game that any clan can use, it is more powerfull than abilities.. however you wont gain access to it until you are about 10% of the way thorugh tha game.

@scape9878 - Acually all clans except nosferatu and gangrel have the ability. Presence counts as an influential power (though it requires more ranks than dominate).

They disappear immediatly after their fight and re-appear after LaCroix gives you the dane quest. It is not a bug...

I use 7 zip and it still gives me corrupt file...and btw...is the instalation limited to C or can I use any partition?

It is possible you got a bad download. Packets do get lost sometimes... The main thing is that you extract to the location of the installation. C drive was only an example.

I'm having trouble downloading the mod. I get along fine up to the point after 7zip is installed, but when I try to extract the files the second time the option is not available. I get an open folder containing the files instead of both files on the desktop, and it won't let me extract further. Also, I don't have the 7zip menu visible like in the video, but I ran 7zip just like it instructs. I didn't know if it was just my computer or what. Any ideas how I can fix this?

Make sure annotations are turned on when you watch the video. In the annotations, I mention that you need to right click the file to get the menu (not left click). If you happen to be using a left handed mouse, then you would left click.

No, but the mod includes the major bug fixes from older patches. Your safest bet is to install VTMB, and then this mod and nothing else.

oh and one other very important thing... when i posses someone, i cant change back to my character... example is when i turned into jannete, then went to my character and went unposses, i coudnt and jannete had turned into a female toredor player?????????

That is the kind of bug that happens when you try to install 2 mods at once. Follow the readme and do a full re-install to make sure there are no artifacts from a previous install. I dont do technical advice in these comments. If you need more pointers, email me.

hey, i was just wondering if i could do this mod, plus use the van hellsing mod as well, i kinda went crazy with all the mods and downloaded heaps... it kinda stuffed up my game hehe

No. It is compatible with some models\skins, but in general it is not compatible with mods. The van hellsing mod isn't simply a skin, it is a mod that changes the game. I may eventually make a Van Hellsing plugin, but it doesn't exist yet.

does this mod work with the toreador? it's just i installed it, tried and there was no diolouge (to say to the hobo) yet with the other clan (the one stated in the video) there is extra diolouge

Yes. But Toreadors require 1 more point in presence that ventrue or tremere do in dominate. Try bumping the presesnce discipline up to 2 points and you should see the dialog with the bum.

You can follow the same steps for the outfit packs, but you dont have to. The outfit packs can be installed directly to the game directory. But if you have any problems, this is a pretty safe way of installing things.

The most common issue with installation for XP users is people not extracting the inner .7z file. But if you followed this video that shouldn't have been an issue. When you extracted compmod_1.0.7z, was everything selected within the 7zip window or just the bin directory. 7zip only extracts the directories you have highlighted

Try using a different site (One other than FileFront). I'm guess FileFront was doing maintenance and you got a bad download.
