these days lovers dont send letters they do every thing on email or use mobile. olden days were much more better than these days. these days the love is instant so no charm of love. in the olden days it take years to have love with somebody if you are lucky.

These days we are after instant gratification that's had from sex and drugs. Those days there was greater innocence and a lot of hardships too. Individual freedom in India and much of world was far less at that time than today.
Because of the hardships, people were likely more committed to each other. Character traiits like loyalty, perseverance, fortitude were likely more pronounced then. Today we have cheap music like hiphop, openly vulgar conduct, easy sex, and drugs...But the freedom too.
