oh man! Years of playing this game, thought I knew everything, and come to find out you can jump thru that damn dragon? I hated Phtia the most, you forgot to mention what a pain in the ass it is to try and actually get to the Sword there. And if you fall off a ledge, you lose half of your olives! That pissed me off so bad when I would play.

On a side note, just wanted to let you know that, Phthia is pronounced Pethia, Actually in the greek language there are over 4 different spellings for the letter I or E in English... H = E/I

Yeah, people like Corn with his lightning reflexes make this (and any) game look easy. Rest assured that you'll get more than enough opportunities to see how dying works in this game if you ever get the chance to play it. ;0)

You can choose between "continue", which halves your current amount of olives and brings you back to the entrance point of the area you died in, or you can choose "retry", which 'resets' your status to the state you were in the last God's Temple you visited for a password (basically the same as loading a game using the newest password, but without having to fill in the actual password).

The game doesn't keep track of how many times you died, by the way. Which is fine by me 'cause I must have died at least fifty times while jumping around in frigging Phrygia with its stupid monkeys and grubs and bomber eagles. =0p

God i hated Phythia. the rest of the game is challenging, this area grabs your throat, smacks you down, then demands your lunch money.

Anyways, that place is an ass, lots of easy deads that is for sure and I remember how I collected 80 olives just to get the best sword of the game and got fricking owned like millions of times before I even got to talk to a god. That place is an ASS!

Well, I think that golden apple is sort of a symbol of immortality which is the reason why I suppose it works as armor in this game.
