There are some cringeworthy parts, but the movie isn't flaunting them every 2 minutes if that's what you're asking. But it's really good. I recommend it.

this movie is the first action thriller i've seen that has an element of reality in it, unlike hollywood flicks there is nothing in the film that has been portrayed just for that 5 second 'wow'..everything is part of an amazing story, picturised even more amazingly with real emotions and a voice over that is first hand.

I have to agree, they are totally different films, aimed at different responses, genre can be split into many different ways under bigger genres, for example action could be revenge action into a restricted narrative revenge actions etc, now both sound simular in genre, except big lebowski adds that huge difference of being "comedy". I'm not homophobic but I'm against gay rights.Anti-asian videos stem from jealousy and hatred. When immigrants come over here they get to the best schools and rise high pretty quickly while sadly, black communities stay the same.
My school has TONS of Asians. The Korean kids who come here isolate everyone else, get great grades, were expensive clothes and have a bit of an attitued like their better than everyone else.I have four Korean friends who aren't like them. So put things in perspective.

this movie is the first action thriller i've seen that has an element of reality in it, unlike hollywood flicks there is nothing in the film that has been portrayed just for that 5 second 'wow'..everything is part of an amazing story, picturised even more amazingly with real emotions and a voice over that is first hand.

they didn't make much sense so ill say it simply 1. what do u like the best, the big lebowski or high school music? but if you say 1 is better than the other then u know nothing about films as they are different genres. do u see what i mean, some films are still obviously better than others even if they belong in different genres.

Yeah, you're right, some movies stand on their own, regardless of genre. However, I'm going to have to go with a serious "personal preference bias" irt your comment that this is not as good as the big lebowski (though my flatmate might agree with you; she's from Louisville, Kentucky, and they have a Lebowskifest every year).
Personally? I appreciate movies with a bit more substance than "The Dude abides" or "I don't roll on Shomer Shabbos."
As for Kill Bill? Not even going there.

I have to agree, they are totally different films, aimed at different responses, genre can be split into many different ways under bigger genres, for example action could be revenge action into a restricted narrative revenge actions etc, now both sound simular in genre, except big lebowski adds that huge difference of being "comedy". So one isnt better than the other in except personal opinion, and in mine oldboy is my favourite film.
