I believe that in order to understand the success of older people, we have to study them when they were young, fresh, full of vitality. It is really easy to miss why someone fat, wrinkly and/or bald is interesting today, but if we see who they were, and most importantly, what society was like in the 50's - 60's, etc. and what they represented back then, then it will be easier for us to understand.
