  • This was written by Peter de Rose, who had never left New York until he was invited to Hollywood when it was used in a movie. His widow told me that he was put on a horse for a publicity shot and fell straight off it.

  • One of the great songs long forgotten and seldom played today. Perfect tempo to show off the master's poetry without flash. What a gifted pianist. Please see if you can find Deep Purple by Joe Sullivan, a pianist of the same era as forgotten as this beautiful tune.
