  • AWESOME!!!!! I'm so happy about this. Thank you, Mercy for Animals! YOU ROCK!!!!!

  • People have become so disconnected with their food, where it comes from and what was in involved bringing it to the grocery store, that ads like this can be jolting to some. Hopefully its effective in causing people to think more about connecting the dots.

  • it's about time... after all, the milk and meat industry have been airing their "Beef. It's what's for dinner" propaganda for long enough without a response. Want beef -go visit the Amazon!

  • PLEASE GO VEGAN

  • School children should be taken on field trips to slaughterhouses. This should be part of our education! Ignorance is a lame excuse for allowing the atrocities that go unchecked in factory farms.

  • If eating meat is natural, why is seeing animals suffering and dying disgust us? we live in a world where we think bacon and burgers fall out of the sky--if it bothers you, if you say "I dont want to know", why do you still try to act like it's natural? Because it's not. We cook our meat,. we season it to taste good, all because we want SALT, not flesh. It's time to GROW UP and stop being selfish, go veg.

  • Watch Rosebud Hog Factory - Part 1 on youtube. It will make you think twice about how American food is produced

  • This is amazing and gets the point across!

  • Please share and repost far and wide this is the only way people will listen , they love to Watch ! Also send Peopl to this site request your free copy and receive it in the mail.

  • I'd donate $1000 right now if your message was choose vegan instead of choose vegetarian.

  • @drawds Hopefully it is the first step on their way to Vegan. It's better than remaining totally oblivious, but having nationally televised commercials against the entire meat industry is an enormous feat in this day and age, so that is something to be thankful for. I hope this reaches a lot of people

  • I'm vegan, but what's wrong with the word vegetarian? Seriously, these guys do a lot of stuff to help the animals, so they deserve our respect. We're vegetarian (herbivore) by nature, anyway. Once people stop eating animal products, they will most likely stop buying leather or fur products, and they will also stop supporting circuses and zoos, but most people do it step by step. If you ask a meat eater to go vegan over night, it will most likely reject the idea of becoming vegan.

  • OMG, it's unbelievable! Awesome! Keep up the great work! MFA ♥

  • This is amazing, the movement is growing so fast lately. MTV gets huge respect points for letting these air.

  • I am so glad you will get to air something pro veggie. MFA rocks..love your work.

Finally the day is here that people can no longer ignore where their "food" comes from.

I felt my heart sinking watching this ( have seen the others).

My hope is that one person will feel the sinking of their heart, the need to clear their throat. Choose compassion!!!

Perhaps one day there could be an indept news report on the secrets of dairy farms, or the brutality of slaughter houses.

    THANK YOU MFA!!!

  • Great tool to educate my friends. Thank you....

  • Thanks guys for teaching the true definitions of 'vegan' and 'vegetarian' ! Before it I thought that 'vegan' is just simply an abbreviation of 'vegetarian'.

  • I'm no vegetarian. hell, I don't even like animals that much. But even i know that it's cruel to torture them their whole lives, and not even give them a chance to live a proper life and have freedom. As kids, you grow up thinking farms are nice places where animals live happily...but really, since the moment they're born, they're trapped and grown until they can be slaughtered. That's not very nice at all...

  • shame on corpse munchers....after seeing this ad makes me more n more angry...people just munch on corpse n then die of illness....for god sake open ur eyes.....GO VEGAN.....LIVE N LET LIVE U HAVE NO RIGHT TO KILL OR EAT ANIMALS.....

  • @ananya7ananya Corpse munchers...hmph...I like it. I am going to use that term from now on, if you don't mind.

  • @GrapeLola sure u can use....its widely used by animal lovers:)))

  • also I am not sure but in my first post on page 1 I had meant to say by NOT eating meat. I support the movement as a whole it's just being taken by all the wrong approches... sexyess (peta) shock value(peta/here) and emotional/sympathy. sex does sell but meat sells better. shock value fades away and may only be a quick gruesome factor for younger kids and the whole emotional thing gives veganism/veg the whole "weak pacifist" image. I'd much prefer action through public education and idealism.

  • Seems like it tells we are living in the hell. Very scary

Go vegan sounds like go heaven...we will revive out of hell.

    Scary commericals. I dislike it.

  • I hope these ads run for months, if not years! MFA rules!

  • Hardcore!

The word vegan is still too scary for a lot of people, Vegetarian is a start.

  • If you really cared for animals, you'd choose vegan, not vegetarian.

  • Neat idea, but why not use the word 'vegan' instead?!!

    [choose vegan]

  • As I understand it,being a "full Vegan" means no dairy because of the cruelty imposed on the cows and hens in milking and egg laying. That would mean a full vegan ate nothing but plants/veggies,fruit,nuts,grains and soy. Lacto Ovo "Vegetarians" will have dairy products.

  • Why are you trying to scare kids for?

I mean if i was 8-14 ( which most of the viewers are from Mtv) i would get really scared

  • @hbk1576 If they wanted to scare kids, they'd put this on Cartoon Network. Kids are the smaller side of the audience for MTV, which, they supposedly should even watching that kind of stuff.

  • @hbk1576 maybe kids shouldn't be forced to eat something that comes for tortured animals, and if given the choice would choose to go vegetarian? It's true for most people, when they find out the truth, they tend to re-evaluate their food choices.

  • Simply choosing to eat meat does nothing against the industial food complex. For every person who decides to end eatting meat a hundred babies are born to replace them. When there is money involved, the little guy (being "us" as a collective) will never win.

  • @67mustangreg not buying something, not supporting it, does make a difference. When you purchase animal products, you give the meat industry money, so you support it. every single person is responsible, so those that dont, do have an impact, especially when they buy animal-free foods. why else has the faux-meat market skyrocketed in the last few years. That one person can become a thousand, 10 thousand, a million, and it all means less money for the industry.

  • @BiohazardBunney ..Your first argument made sense to me at age 10, that was my exact reasoning. Fractions of fractions of fractions of pennies on the dollar don't matter to big agri business. The complex is to large to bring down through (honestly) unorganized small grass root groups or indivigual idealists. I've traveled that road for over a decade and have since realized it doesn't and never will dent their numbers. As I see it, short of total society change it's all futile efforts.

  • @67mustangreg that's a depressing outlook and I feel sorry for you. If you look around, things are changing, slowly. They said the same thing about slavery, that nothing would ever change. Look around you, and stop being so pessimistic or you'll just be sad forever :P

  • Hmm, why show blood, what do people think meat comes from. Should show bloody chains instead which shows how these animals spend their whole life caged up sickly to await death.

  • You have a video about dairy being cruel but you are afraid to use the word "Vegan" in your commercials. Why? Going vegetarian sends the message that you can have all the milk, cheese and icecream that you want. For the animals sake, please do not be afraid of using the word Vegan.

  • Very nice

  • finally you big animal welfare groups are using commercials to sell vegetarianism and not sex. now if you'd just go for veganism and not mixed-message vegetarianism. *sighs*

  • Retard Below vvvv

  • first!
