  • Mine is just like it. Aug. of 1945 till early 1946 38,000 were built with shifters on the column. Willys thought that because all civilian cars up to the war had column shift transmissions that they would like them on this new CJ2A. They did not so Willys bailed on the idea really fast. Column shift jeeps have three ID tags instead of one long one, recessed parking lights. Some had tool indents on the drivers side of the tub and some had full military full floating rear axles.

  • was just wondering if you have a problem down shifting while moving aswell?

  • Sweet! I didn't know that Willys Jeep offered Jeeps with column-mounted manual shifting transmission.

  • @ns3330 and soldier716 stupid all CJ-2A had the split windshield

fucking dumb ass shit head dont no shit

you you fuckers just think you now shit but you dont so dont fucking acke bicth

  • shut up

  • @soldier716 CJ-2A never even came out in 1944 it came out in1945 and the yers for the colum shift is 1945-1946

  • that's a jeep to highly cherish. column shift CJ2As are a very rare commodity. i don't really know the exact years, but i think only a few were made between 1944 to 1946

  • looks like an early CJ2A as the early civilian models had the split windshield and a three on the tree. The floor shift T90 transmission was later made standard on the 2a, 3A, 3B and early CJ5's and CJ6's.

  • sweet jeep
