  • Work of sheer beauty... simply stunning!

  • hi i live in the uk & i would love to own/buy, one/any of your custom built tanks.. would this ever be possible? :) ..you are an ARTIST

  • @dnico Sorry, I dont think so. Shipping is just insanely expensive to ship something so large.

  • Is that zoo med excavator clay? Anyone?

  • how did u get the sand to stay in the tunnel formation? what kind of sand/clay is it?

  • are you going to any reptile show in AB??

  • @graphicphoenix No sorry. I dont have enough money to make a bunch of tanks in advance for a show. Plus no one is even interested in buying this tank, so I'll probably loose money on it.

  • would this kind/style of setup be ok for crocodile/moorish geckos anyone?

  • @jgrimmier that is the Zoo Med Excavator substrate isn't it? How well does it hold up?

  • what are the red things?

  • i just hade a thought. do you think that exavator would make a good viv. background.also do u think moss would grow on it

  • I enjoyed building my dessert tank for my beardy who is sadly no longer with me but they are easy fun and a simple design is often the best great job by the way and great rock selection

  • Stunning, saw your post on rfuk. You have inspired me to have a go! XP

  • You are a tank designing god!

  • what are you going to put in there

  • @Beo426 Whoever buys it can put whatever they like inside that fits. Im selling it.

  • @Beo426 nice it looks amazing

  • grimm is probably the most amazing person ever!!

  • @nothobranchius1 lol thanks. But sadly, not even close.

  • Definitely top grade art in a tank

  • @Darknaruto1000 Thanks buddy!

  • now i get what those tomato things are for!

  • @fluffypandah Haha they did look like tomatoes eh! Next time im using those long ones that they make ballons animals out of. They will make nice long and deep caves

  • Awesome stuff :D

  • It's a very nice concept but wouldn't most anything besides maybe tarantulas you put in there need regular cleanings that would disrupt the beautiful iwagumi, and may burrow under the erect rocks and possibly kill themselves?

  • @TheWallaceGrover Any tank with a reptile needs cleaning. Its actually fun pushing the sand and small stones around, so whoever gets this tank will probably enjoy it also. The large rocks sit in their positions from their own weight, so even without the sand they wont fall over.

  • beautiful! you must put an animal in it and show us a vid of them!

  • very creative

  • wow thats cool! what are you going to put in it?

  • @knglee3rd Nothing actually. I made this to experiment and increase interest inmy work. I will be selling it locally and hopefully getting more custom tank orders in the future.

  • @jgrimmier thats cool! what area are you selling them in? i'd get one if you were close

  • nevermind and where did you get those rocks?

  • @reptileman24 A local aquarium store. Not cheap!

  • @jgrimmier ok I will look there that is a beautiful cage I really think you should build one for yourself and I think you should also ship cages because ya it would be like 100 bucks but people pay like 500 to get cages by design shipped and yours are just like theirs on a smaller scale

  • are those balloons?

  • Really cool video! Thanks for sharing! :)

  • I am as well curious as to what substrate was used to sculpt the base. Is it Zoo med Excavator? If so, I sorta want to use it now. It has both good and bad reviews, so....

  • That looks amazing. Is the first material you used the Zoomed Excavator? If so how did you enjoy working with it? I thought about getting to to sculpt a dessert tank for my leopard geckos, and I've gotten mixed reviews on it.

  • is the excavation sand or one of your brilliant selfmade mixtures?

  • @M0rgray Excavator reptile substrate

  • @jgrimmier Zoo med excavator clay burrowing substrate?

  • are the rocks petrified wood? that tank is freakin sweet

  • @Endagr8 Nope, just normal rocks :) Thanks

  • Whats going In it??

  • @xXxGaara63 Nothing actually. I made this to experiment and increase interest in my work. I will be selling it locally and hopefully getting more custom tank orders in the future. It could be used for any small desert creature though. Its only 15 gallons.

  • Absolutely amazing!

  • @xXxGaara63 Thank you!

  • art

  • @macmanieatpie Thanks man. I really appreciate when people use the word art when referring to my tanks!

  • why the calcium sand? to soak up the fecal matter or just for looks?

  • @oOTheKyleOo Both actually. Plus it gives a softer feel to the inhabitant.

  • fricken awesome!!! you do this for a living?

  • @huskytusky09 No, Id love to though. Until then I'll keep enjoying making custom tanks for people.

  • 2nd, and might i say SWEEET!!!

  • First, and might i say AWESOME!!!!!!!

  • @TheArzola77 Thanks!
