  • Cobra 29 is the way to go I have the chrome edition 29 and it is great but all the truckers say the Bluetooth is crap so I would just stick with the 29 classic

  • 6 pin mic not 4

  • ITS STILL A COBRA AND EVERYONE KNOWS A GALAXY WALKS ALL OVER A COBRA. STOCK OR PEAKED

  • The radio is good but there is no way to disable or turn off the stupid beeps the radio emits. When you first turn on the radio BEEP!. After you hang up a call using the Blue tooth features BEEP! I called cobra and per them there is no way to disable the Beeps. The turn on beep still continues even after you totally disable to BT feature.

  • @computerteckn1 Yeah...that beep blows. I just switch it to "pa" before I turn it on. REALLY wish there was a way to disable it.

  • Well this is a great idea...but here in Ontario Canada, we've got the cell phone ban in effect. BUT...now there is also the 3 year phase out plan on CB's. The law states that after the 3 yrs anything hands free will be illegal including CB's, 2-way radio etc. If the new technoligy is not invented they MIGHT extend the phase out period...what a fucking joke!!! What trucker does not have a CB in this truck...mine will never come out...I dont give a shit about the law!!

  • Did you guys vote for this ban? Seems pretty invasive to not be voted on, like our current healthcare bill...lol

  • I dont know if I would use the bluetooth, but I love the look of this CB

  • does anyone know how far away from the radio the phone needs to be? like can you have the phone in the back seat?

  • i would say round 15 ft lol cause thts usually the range.

  • @poomuncher5000 15FT?... I was on the highway the other day talking to someone for 20 miles.

Maybe thats just because I've done alot of work to my CB.

I just peaked and tuned it, I also did a Galaxy echo board :)

    I love these things.

  • @jkern90 he was talking about average bluetooth range, no cb range.

  • I have one of thease radio an its it worth buying , ummmm yea if you like the blue tooth ficture. i think cobra could of added the nitewatch ficture to it along with the soundtracker and then it would have beeen worth $169 bucks. Im going to put it in my lil car maybe sooner or later just cause of the bluetooth. Its a nice radio n o cobra should of added black chrome to.

  • they have it with nightwatch and sound tracker now, its pretty sweet

  • He says it use a 4pin but it uses a 6 pin mike..And there's a ex mic plug in the back for a tie clip mic so you dont have to use the mic

  • Nice Video! Well done!

  • Thanks for posting. May I know if this is made in the USA?

  • Dear sir is there any cb radios made in America in the last 35 years?..This little baby is made..I know this is hard to believe...are you ready?.....Communist China..It seems made in America is a bad word to the people in Washington DC..You see Americans want a wage that is in align with the cost of living..And when they dont get it they form Unions..alot like our founding fathers did when they started the country..So in the spirit of trickle down economics we must be sure not to upset the rich.

  • I bought one of these units and I gotta say it's not a bad rig. The Blue LED's are ok, the quality of the sound through the cell phone is great, I have the Apple iPhone, I can have the phone in the cradle and I speak, "Call Mike" and the phone will call mike and the sound will carry to the large ext. speaker. So much better than holding a small phone up to my head, or the weak speaker phone setup. These radios will be a collector's item someday, so be sure to buy one. long Live the USA

  • What voice dial application do you use? This is not a standard feature of the iPhone so you must be using additional software. Thanks.

  • I have one of these an love it. I drive an F-350 five speed. This is really nice for talking while having to shift and tend to other stuff on the road. Not to mention hearing over the deisel noise etc. If they would just put the bluetooth on the nightwatch soundtracker weather version it would be awsome.

  • i want it

only thing is if u use a aftermarket mic (front mic non external) u wont be able to use bluetooth feature

  • i rather stick to my cobra 148 gtl any day

  • Really nice radio and a really helpful video. Thanks

  • I think im about to buy!
