He is really THE BOSS!!!This man is a live-concert man...I saw him at Ullevi -85,-03 and -05 and it was MAGIC.....-85 he rock so much they have to re-built Ullevi...03 he was very very very good...and when he came back in -08 on july 5 he was playing a very different play-list compare to july 4....and he play many songs that he not do often..but I love it...
The first time I saw was at the Meadowlands in 1984 for the last of the ten shows on the Born the the USA tour. He did this following Born to Run and with the Asburyt Jukes horn section in tow. Just absolutely blew the doors off the place.
this is the most perfect example i've ever, ever, ever seen of the unique magic of the live boss experience. from now on when people ask me what the hell i see in springsteen, rather than trying to fight my way through an answer, i shall show them this clip. THIS is why. right here.
I hope Simon Cowell watches the Boss in action because that`s what real talent and real music is SUPPOSED to sound like,Bruce Springsteen didn`t roll off an assembly line.
i love this video, i was lucky enough to see him twice in the same year in 2009 on the working on a dream tour .. he is amazing, and i want to thank my dad for listening to him, teaching me about this guy and the band cuz they are great
I saw Bruce in Newcastle, UK in the summer of 1985 and about 85,000 Brits sure knew who he was and sang along like an ethereal church choir on all the old songs mentioning Jersey, etc. It was spectacular. They could have been at JFK in Philly or Giants Stadium. They knew the songs and their love for Bruce was crazy real. They didn't discover him in 1985 - he had played the Hammersmith Odeon in 1975 in London.
The greatest rock and roll band and performers.... AND SONGWRITER OF ALL TIME!!! absolutely nothing corny about Bruce imagine being at this incredible show.
Saw Bruce again live last night after 25 years! Glendale, AZ 4/3/09. Last saw him at Iowa State on 11/16/1984. He played Detroit Medley. Wished he'd done it again last night!
I am 44 now - when I was younger I just did not get Bruce. I could not see why everyone was so excited about him. My oh my how things change.... He is (and always has been) an inspiration... what a performer!!!
MEMO TO YOUTUBE: Unfortunately I couldn't rate this clip as the highest possible rating is "Awesome". I would like YouTube to add a 6th star rating and call it "BROOOOOOCE!!!"
He recorded BITUSA, then left the band prior to the tour. Patti was brought in to replace his vocals, Nils to replace his guitar. Reunited in 95' for Blood Brothers.
This is kind silly, but does anyone else think Patti is chanelling Jem (like, the 80s cartoon) in this video? This whole video is so awesomely 80s. Thanks for the upload!

To me it seems like the fans in 84-85 didnt know the old springsteen songs.
TNA52383 2 years ago
The fans in 84-85 are his old fans, especially in 1984. He hadn't hit the big time yet (but was just about ready too).
It wasn't until late 85 or so when he became the superstar the world found out about.
