@nsa162 I could be wrong but I think its street legal because its classed as a bicycle and not as a motor vehicle (non combustion engine) thus having no need to install seat belts but depending what country you are from you are required to wear helmets if this is the case...like I said I could be wrong but that's my take on it
I think it's very innovative. Having batteries, electric motor and human power combined into one is quite efficient. This is something that should be incorporated in city vehicles. Imagine the great shape we'd be all in and better air.

@TheKaos90 no i think you hold a clutch then pull that lever many times, which has a high gear ratio sorta like the hardest gear on a mountain bike, once the shaft gets to high rpm let go of the clutch and your gone

Wonderful innovation!!! This is a very refreshing and intelligent video i've watched for a while on youtube!! We supposed to highlight more videos like this instead of imaginary gun wielding kids's video (BO/ BBFC2) or some shameless individual wearing skimpy cloth in music video (c'mon, there are many beautiful decent cloth in the stores). I'm no angel or einstein, but after watching this short clip, i want to be one, for better future!

only thing that sucks is how it steers. I could see a lot of people wiping out in these things. Or getting hit by oncoming traffic. You steer with your butt in this car.... not very precise in my books.

Wouldn't it be a better idea to hook up some bike pedals to it instead of the lever?
I don't mean as in "make it a go-cart", keep the powering system you have now, but hook up bike pedals instead of pulling the steering rod.
That looks awfully dangerous imho :O
What if you accidentally lose grip on it while you pull, wouldn't the car go turning and crash or something?

The son looked super tense, probably because he secretly knew it was a piece of shit. Neither of them smiled lol Also, if was horrible with turns, you could tell because the editing often showed turns after they already started the turn or toward the end. Plus, I'd like to see this car try to go up a hill, none of this flat land and down hill crap!
