  • well, khan, you sure know how to make an entrance, you perfect, perfect villain.

  • takes me back to my childhood when life was easy, disney movies will live forever in my heart <3

  • I seriously am in love with the fact that they're based off The Beatles. It just makes this movie even better. <3

  • Is i just me or do the Vuluture resemble the beetles?!

  • @kmasucci

Their design was actually heavily based off of the Beetles. I actually think the Beetles were their original voice actors, but something happened and they quit/were fired. I'm not entirely sure.

  • @tatiethezombie Your Right Dizzy The Vulture Really Does Look Like The 60's Version Of Joey Ramone I Love Dizzy The Vulture He's One Of My Favorite Jungle Book Vulture

  • Surely I can't be the only one who finds it extremely suspicious that scavenging birds would want to befriend a young scrawny mancub, trying to put him into a sense of false security lads?

Why does Mogli even trust them? it wasn't that long ago he encountered a snake singing that he could trust him only for it to betray him

  • love the long haired deep voiced one, who could that be (?)

  • I wish I had bass like Shere Kahn lol

  • They're supposed to resemble The Beatles.<3 (:

  • They don't really remind me of the Beatles. Maybe the Monkees? I'm just taking a shot in the dark here. And it's probably been answered already, but Shere Kahn is voiced by George Sanders. And, for anyone else who's into jazz, King Louie was voiced by the immortal Louis Prima (the guy who wrote "Sing Sing Sing."

  • as much as i would like to agree with anyone who says the vultures represent the beatles i have to say this movie was made in the 40s... much before the beatle era

  • @megauin2 Actually, this movie was made in 1967. The Beatles first joined together in 1960, and the official four in 1962.

  • @Ben12193: the vultures were based on the beatles most famous looks, which they got rid of well before 1967

  • @TherealRNO 1. I posted that comment 11 months ago, perhaps you should check the date before responding. 2. You just said it yourself, it's their most famous look, hence why the vultures have it.

  • The bald vulture looks just like tony robinson

  • first thing that comes to mind........Beatles

  • it sucks

  • @naruto5262 you suck

  • @naruto5262 Your name sucks

  • Best song in the Jungle Book.

  • ive always found the idea of being sung at by the vultures who are going to eat me after i die to be oddly appealing.

  • ffffff- I wish beatle similar vultures would sing to me D:

  • wish this song was longer, anyone agree?

  • Me and my friends can do this exact thing except it can only go up to the first that's what friends are for. LOL it's too long for us....

  • Love The Beatles/Vultures! It was quite easy to tell who Ringo was in that (obviously the one with the huge nose and deep voice). Guessing that John was the blonde haired one, Paul was brown haired, and George was black haired. Not bad, but I think I prefer the originals. ;)

  • @hiabbeyhimaggy Wait those dudes are the real beatles?!?!??!?!?!?!?

  • @TheKaleb100 No, I didn't mean that. Sorry. I was just saying they were supposed to be like portraying the Beatles, was my thought. I didn't make that very clear, did I? I'm sorry.

  • holy shit sher kan...o3o

  • Who's Singing? The voice behind the picture.

  • things like this remind me why youtube is awesome.

  • does anyone know where you can find the arrangement for this?

  • definatley the beatles!!

  • 4 english sounding vultures singing in a quartet in a film made in the 60s...hmm anyone else think they might be based on the beatles? lol

  • i thot the same exact thing

  • @cfcspmc lol yup

  • @cfcspmc it was delibarate

  • am i the only one who thinks the black haired vulture looks kinda like joey ramone?

  • im doing the jungle book in my school 4 christmas and im a monkey eep eep ooooh e e e e!

  • my fav-part of the song will allways be 1:06-1:15

those days Disney didn't use electric guitars and all that

  • i agree, this sort of animation is a lost art, replaced with so-called "better" animation.

  • I agree Shere Khan should have his own song

  • Legendary, Is till sing this alot, and I ahven't watched Jungle Book in years :)

  • did shere khan died?

  • I don't think so.....he came back in the second film I think. I wouldn't know I haven't seen it XD

  • He was in the second one.

  • yeah he comes back in the second film, I think the first one's a lot better.... then again they usually are.

  • in the movie? no

  • according to the author of the Jungle Book (whose name i do not currently remmeber) wrote in one of his books that a hunter orders Mogly (sorry if i spelt his name wrong) to show him the treasure. Shere Khan kills the hunter, Mogly uses the hunters gun to kill Shere Khan. But the movie and the book are only connected loosly, so it is possible that Shere Khan stil lives in the Jungle Book disney franchise

  • Rudyard Kipling was the author.

  • best song of the whole movie.. loved it when i was a kid, and still do.. yay disney!!! :] never fails to make me smile.

  • who is the the voice of shere khan?

  • George Sanders was the voice of Shere Khan

  • shere khan actually puts all the vultures to shame with his booming bass

  • most awesome song in jungle book^^

  • This sound, despite being so upbeat, always sounded sad to me. ;[.

  • ITS THE BEATLES

  • love the vultures there so funny and shere kan lol love that voice of his lol

  • This song is awesome! So is this movie!! Bahaha the Vultures are hilarious (:

  • The vultures are the best (:

    So what we gonna do?

idk what do you wanna do.. AY DONT START THAT AGAIN!

    lmfao. love itt.

  • shere khan scared me as a child

  • I love this song from The Jungle Book! :) the voltures remind me from the Beetles for some reason... and I wasn't even alive for the beetles.. haha. :)

  • The characters were actually made for the Beatles, but they backed out at the last minute. Cool eh?

  • I wasnt alive when the word Beatles was spelled with 2 e's.

  • well sorry, I'm a terrible speller and I was too lazy to try to check.

  • haha I know man, I'm only kidding

  • Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn.... Khan has a sexy voice O.o

  • Comment removed

  • I had this song stuck in my head for soooooooooooooooooooooo many years. I NEED to watch this again.

  • this song rocks!! just as if the beatles had sung it!!

  • Kahn Hits the lowest note ever...! amazing

  • I love this song

  • As a barbershop singer, I gotta say. . . that's a really FUCKING low note,lol.

  • According to my tuner, that is the low C. I only know one other person that can hit that note, and that is one of my teachers. He can go as low as to the low Bb, but that doesn´t make this any less amazing.

  • It is the low C (c2). I've always loved this song, used to hear it and know it was well beyond my decent bass vocal range... Now, I'm hitting that note and lower. I can sing along with Josh Turner when he hits B1... I lose strength after the A1 but can produce as low as F1 sometimes. But this guy's voice is so good, so strong and powerful, such good quality. I envy him!

  • That´s really well done of you, but how is your range the other way? Since my last comment I´ve discovered an even greater bass in my school. The teacher I was talking about taught ensamble, but now I´ve discovered that my choir-teacher can hit the G1 with full power. On the other hand, he has trouble singing the D4.

Personally, I can only reach the Eb2, but I can get up to the Bb4 too, so I guess that compensates for the bass.

  • Eb2 is quite low. Very rare that a choir needs a bass to below Eb2. Many basses have trouble below F2, and it's mostly soloists that would need to get lower. Bb4 is also quite high. You definitely have great range.

Your range is about what mine used to be. I would tell my extremes but I don't think anyone would believe me except the person who was listening at the time. Suffice to say I can produce B1-B4 comfortably, and in one sitting have gone both higher and lower. Surprised myself !

  • This is the best and clearest Great-C (C2) I´ve ever heard. What a powerful resonant voice!!!

I`ve tried to sing below C2, as strong as I could. But below A#1 (Contra-A#) I´m losing Power. I´ve posted a video with it here on my channel. It´s called Basso Don.

  • this is great, one of my friends arranged this song for 2 tubas and 2 Euphoniums and I have the 2nd tuba part at the very end...

  • sounds awesome :D

  • @tubadude07 That sounds amazing! Is it online anywhere?

  • god i love his singing, its so low yet so so so clear, it makes me want to keep going back and listening to him again and again

  • I agree. Dude he hits a low low C. Mega epic man.

  • Shere Khan has a GREAT singing voice!

  • who is the SherKahn's voice speaker??

  • According to Wikipedia, it's George Sanders, an actor.

  • Folks, the Beatles were scouser's not cockney's lol

  • well the beatles did do a song called a little help from my friends?

  • I don't really care for this movie but I love those vultures. I think I know which one is which.

Bald One: John (Both the leaders & Sound a-like)

Brown Hair: Paul (Sound & Act alike)

    Blonde: George (Sound alike)

Black Hair: Ringo (Sound & Look alike)

Also, the song reminds me of "You're Going To Lose That Girl"

  • I thought it was:

Blonde - Paul (the "pretty" one)

Brown - John (eggs on the others to do stuff)

Long Hair - George (most dead-pan)

Bald - Ringo (no other Beatle left)

  • LMFAOOO! I Love how Shere Khan comes and butts in at the end randomly!

    Classic! :P

  • shere khan is the best baddy ever awesome !!!

  • i play the excited vulture in jungle book

    love the song :D

  • BEATLES!!

    haha.

  • they remind me of teddy and gang off scrubs

  • And you have the Sheer Kahn bit right at the end.

  • This is such a cool song! And it means so much

  • I love this song!

  • One of the best Barbershop numbers ever.
