If you're looking for a french with the light squared bishop outside the pawn chain how about playing the caro kann!! :-)

You might like it better because the exchange caro is much less drawish then the exchange french since it gives imbalanced pawn structure.

New thoery shows you can play just as dynamic with the caro as the french. Would be a real treat to see some caro kann games KC. Good crush this one. I'm going to keep watching until I'm through the whole list hehe.

Surprising KC, i thought you would dabble with pirc at some point of your career, lol...I play the pirc and often get destroyed because of brain cramps against strong players, so yeah it is not very fun playing it unless absolutely certain about lines 15 moves deep
