I will greatly appreciate it if somebody could give me any information about the background music. It wasn't on any soundtrack list  that I could find in internet for this episode. Somebody mentioned a similarity to "Fiddler on the roof" , so I listened to the musical, but I don't think it is from there.

One of the best TV shows ever, There was always a trip to the record store to go buy music after every episode. So much sexual tension, really great acting and smart funny dialog. what do we have today....bullshit reality shows. Is there a shortage of writers nowadays?

Nope :( Joel wasn't even if most of Season 5 and all of Season 6 if I remember correctly. I don't think he even shows up in the finale. Maggie and Chris dance together in the finale and I think we're just left to wonder from that point.

I think the whole jewish fiddler on the roof music made this great scene even better ! Loved Northern Exposure. Clasic televison and this show really did appeal to the masses. It had something for everybody!
