There are two paralyze effects that you could incur upon enemies using a bow. The first and easiest is a perk in the Archery tree. Open up your archery tree and you'll see it quick enough. The second is the paralyze enchantment that can be pulled off any weapon you find that has it (except Volendrung, because it's a unique item) and can then be placed onto any bow you like (though it's power depends on your skill and soul gem quality).
I end up going solo for pretty much the whole later half of the Dark Brotherhood quest line. Going solo both frees me up to be more mobile and so avoid trouble more easily and forces it on me as I don't have the brick wall-like Janessa to take my hits. =]
Give her two one-handed weapons and take away all other options. Make sure she isn't holding a shield. I gave her a bow as well, she seems to prioritize one-handed weapons over bows though.
Could you do a quick alchemy guide for the better poisons? I know I could easily look them up at home, but I would rather play the game. I watch these where I don't have access to gaming websites.
@bmoneyism MadBagGamer's wrong. Nightingale armor levels, and you get the best version at levels 32+. However, you don't get the best version of the Nightingale Sword and Bow until levels 46+.
For future reference I'd recommend uespwiki. You can find virtually anything about any Elder Scrolls game on that site.
I started it when I passed through Riften on my way to High Hrothgar for the first time. Like the College quests with my mage, though, I wasn't able to just run right through the whole chain. It got tough in parts and I have to go do other things and level up for a while.
Did a lot of radiant and dungeon/side quests for a while, then hit Thieves and I've been focusing on Daedric quests since.
can someone tell me how to get that paralyze arrow or bow
