  • Is it me or the song at the beginning sound like She's Not There by the Zombies?

  • "I'm into garbage...It's my thing"

  • 6:24 - 6:33 - Absolutely perfect.

  • "Listen, Harvard makes mistakes too you know - Kissinger taught there."

  • "It was fun to flirt."

  • What's with the part impeach Ronald Reagan what did they care about the governor and to put him with all those ex-Presidents how did they know!

  • "There are no 2's Max" LOL

  • This movie is consistently quotable :D

  • Where are the rest of the parts? This is one of my favorite movies.

  • This is a great movie. Like Cassavetes and a few others, Woody Allen proves that American cinema owns some geniuses beyond Hollywood's mostly crapiness.

  • i cant belive that this Movie got the academy award instead of Star Wars..unbelivible !!!

  • I've probably seen this film a doz times and still pick up laughs I had not noticed or were over my gord at the time. I think this film still shows in one theater in NYC and "sister city" Chippewa Falls.

  • hmmm mashed yeast...

  • this movie is freakin' hilarious. I haven't watched any woody allen films before but I get the hype

  • great movie!

  • Party guests:

0:11 Jim McKrell (host of "Celebrity Sweepstakes") and William Callaway (voice of Aquaman on "Super Friends" and Charlie Owl on "New Zoo Review").

  • "Impeach Ronald Reagan" in 1976 - can you say political foresight?

  • Jeff Goldblum 2:47

    brilliant!

  • "i forgot my mantra"

  • "I'm into garbage. It's my thing."

    lol :P

  • at 1:49 it's abvious they started walking after they started filming----bad editing

  • @AS3906 But maybe they'd paused to have Paul Simon illustrate another great portion of his house? It's so abvious, abviously----bad spelling

  • is it me or do his make-out scenes not just really put you off?

  • 2:14 "I'm into garbage, it's my thing". Nice reply. Lol

  • I forgot my mantra :D

  • One of the best movies ever made..pure genius

  • Paul Simon is an excellent foil for Woody Allen: the east coast neurotic and the west coast slime ball. Genius.

  • 'my feet haven't touched pavement...' How true, LOL

  • JEFF GOLDBLUM

  • LOL ... "i forgot my mantra"

  • omfg was that Goldblum's only line?

  • "I don't understand...are you joking or what?" Hahaha!

  • Was Simon's girlfriend in this clip Laurie Bird? Looks like the same girl from Two Lane Blacktop.

If so, she passed away a few years after this film, ironically in Garfunkel's apartment.

  • Was that--was that Jeff Goldblum?

  • Yes, it was!

  • Apparently not as much as it already has yours.

  • "What we got here... is a dead shark."

    genius

  • I love mashed yeast. .... with ketchup.

  • "I'm into garbage...it's my thing".

  • quick jeff goldblum

  • I think the lobster scene is one of the best scenes ever. It is a perfect illustration of the importance of chemistry. The girl is cute, even hot, but the chemistry that existed with something as stupid as lobster on the floor with Diane Keaton, that cannot be repeated, and when Allen realizes that, he realizes that chemistry cannot be created, imitated, it just happens or not, and that is his greatest sorrow: chemistry is gone.

  • Excellent and cogent comment, totally agree.

  • I've ALWAYS said that about the lobster scene!!! great minds think alike, I guess ;)

  • @windtoday My thoughts exactly. That is one of the best parts of the movie.

  • my shark is dead.

  • it takes too long to download

  • @godfatherofwiseguys: Just wondering mate, have you got a faster linespeed yet? ;)

  • The lobster scene is great...no way trying to recreate the spell you lived with another person.

  • "...I don't understand...are you joking or what?"....a genius.

  • A relationship is like a shark...it has to constantly move forward or it dies LOL
