Unfortunately halo: reach doesn't come close to this kind of depth. A truly awful goodbye from bungie's side of the storyline. didn't ever capture emotion, you never truly felt like a lot was riding on you & you were an important part of the halo universe, none of noble team besides jorge died cinematicly, and noble 6's death was just rushed and bland

I've been replaying CE for the last few weeks now. So much of what made that campaign addictively replayable will be present in Reach. Banshee/Elite killing pistol ring a bell? And the AR seems to have regained some of it's godlike fire power from CE but sadly they left the clip at 32. DMR looks set to kick as and the Rocket Hog??? I can only dream.....

Halo 3 was awesome in my opinion, but the Halos are slowly losing impact.

Halo: CE was ground breakingly awesome and Bad-ass

Halo 2 WAs ground breakingly awesome, but Bungie's rush to get it finished showed in the cutscenes.

Halo 3 was ground breakingly awesome and dominated the Xbox 360, but lacked in the campaign.

ODST was barely able to be called a game.

Wars was.... Wars, nuff said.

Hopefully Reach will be as awesome as it looks.

@SoaringSpartan Well... Halo Wars wasn't a Bungie's Halo and ODST was just an expansion. There was of course always a huge ammount of improvements from CE to 2 and from 2 to 3, but Bungie was the least good at Campaings. However, Reach will pwn in every way possible. The Campaign will be fucking epic and the Multiplayer will be pretty insane. But wait! There's more... >:D

Custom Games will give us infinite fun, Forge will be amazing, Firefight will pwn and Theater will be a cool mix as always.

I understand what your saying and almost completely agree with you but you gave no reason why reach will be so amazing. Nobody except people at comic con, E3, or bungie employees have even played reach.

Campaign - we don't know how good it is

Multiplayer - same as before we all know what to expect

Custom games - same as before, a little better

Forge - outstandingly easier, simplier, and more fun. This draws the line.

Firefight - I wasn't ever a big fan of firefight...

Campaign: The "Battle Begins" trailer looked promising and it's great that you can change your appearance so you can have different Campaign experiences with different-looking characters.

Multiplayer: Beta + daily and weekly challenges + a ton of armor to unlock + more everything (weapons, maps etc.)

Custom Games: Forge World maps + more gametypes + more options

Forge: Forge World

Firefight: As customizable as Custom Games + Versus mode + Matchmaking support.

"promising"? + I agree customization is awesome but it won't change gameplay at all and i will be more concentrated on the actual cut-scene rather the bad-ass recon I'm wearing.

The new features in multiplayer will either make or break Reach. The armory, cR, and beta are all features i appreciate/appreciated.

Custom games isn't even worth talking about, simple concept is simple.

Forge = just plain awesomeness, garunteed.

firefight = personal preference

I've been following reach for the past 8 months on b.net, i know everything that needs to know and all "awesome things". Like i said it all goes down to personal preferences.

The difference between you and I is the fact that i'm preparing for the worst (as i should have done after 10 months of pre-mw2 launch) and i'm not being a complete fanboy. I think Halo is the best thing that came to a video game, but i'm not going to rate it a 10.0, etc, ESPECIALLY after NEVER playing the game.
