Hey mellow out. Windsor is ideally located to access Detroit and all it has to offer, music,sports,night clubs,restuarants and great for boating. But if you need to travel Metro airport is only 45 minutes away. Also, if you like country life then go in any direction in Essex County and life is slow and peaceful. You might even want to enjoy are many beaches in Lake Erie and Lake St.Clair.

coming from canada to visit a friend in detroit; i was stopped at the detroit/windsor border in october 2007; the border guards treated me like a criminal ! boy, did my view of america change that day! and detroit is such a depressing city !

coming home to Canada made me realized how fortunate I am to live here.

America has changed; it's sad to see they now live in fear......and are suspicious of everyone.
