24, Been jammin out 2 this track every night this week since I came across it.. I cant get enough of it makes me wanna take back the hands of time and inject myself in the mist of all the glory the early 90's club/rave scene was.
Absolutely love this song! I have the 4 minute version of this and this extended version is making me loving it a lot more. The 90s tunes are the best by far. So glad to be a 90s child!
Brings back so many memories....climbing over walls and through fields to get to a garage/acid house rave.....ice skating drunk.....2-3 day raves and only going home to eat and change....opening bottles of drink with our teeth.....aaahhh those were the days.
Please forgive me for being so blunt. Quit this fuckin good old days bullshit jibber jabber. Bring back the love!
I'm only 26 and I've got no memories of house raves, but you know what? I'm hungry. I will see you in the fields. Maybe next year, maybe in two years time
but right now, I have only a will and an idea.
If it don;t exist then make it so. I'm excited already, the anticipation is growing me
@XDesiredEffectX let me assure you sweetie.....it did exist ......and the memories are soooo goood! but every generation has its own music.....I don't mind you crashin mine.....shame is that so many 'young' people find it hard to let me in on theirs!
@khackett77 Yeah that looks like cyberzone except for the shit on the left wall. Maybe Ybor. Yeah, that was the best time, My parents thought it was so kool that I had tons of vinyl.... little did they know
as soon as the piano kicks in the hairs on my arms stand to attension, like the old rush i used to get to it,, and no im not pilling today maybe tomorrow
Wish they would play this in my gym at full blast. Instead they play some absolute dribble, yeah it's all today's chart stuff, with people who don't care about music, all they care about is, if they look good in the video.
Thanks for the original extended mix. This came out when i was 17-18 and hitting the clubs when dance at its biggest (to me anyway). Memory of Zanadu club in Chesterfield UK when this came out. All the lights would go out when it started and when the base comes in, the strobe lights would kick in. Back then with the extra highs that were about, it was a special feeling. Wow the flashbacks...
Jesus christ these tunes bring back the good old days when it was all about the music, these days was amazing and i wish they were still like this. I'm 30yrs old now and i feel like i have been through a time tunnel listening to this. Live your life to the max, have no regrets and rave on guys.....I would give my right arm to go back to these days and relive it once more!!!
grew up to this when I was school. 32 years old now and still loving it! they dont seem to make tunes like this any more - genuine uplifting tracks with good vocals and melodies. Can't stand 90% of all that cheap "dance music" shite these days.
To me its was a bit ravey but mostly it was quite Catchy, Popular in ways and quite groovy. Still its classed a Rave, Pop, Dance, Electronic and some sort of Old Skool Jungle with the breaks & beats being used.
When I was a kid this song seemed cheesey and commercial as everybody was listening to proper hardcore on tape packs and pirate radio stations, although looking back and hearing it again it actually sounds good now!

@deedas333 ---If you think the 90's was cool, God I missed what clubbing was really about! The 60's and the 70's! In the 60's and 70's-REAL disco & arena/concert /club action-Woodstock, orgies, sexual freedome, lighters at concerts. Wine and drink (flasks) at concerts that YOU were
@AngelArtists Yeah most raves I've been to have been just a glorifoed club experience hardly any different from what the mainstream offers, and kids dont know any better. I really love Burial's music b/c it expresses the feeling of longing for something that will never come again
@AngelArtists I knew these guys and you are right. It was all for the love of it and no big payout. Hopefully they are all still publishing music and making money through it. on this track you will see that Floyd put his name as Dice. Because already by then he knew that making money would comprimise his credibility. The Production House Crew from 1991 were very intelligent guys.
@AngelArtists Simon Cowel, your days are numbered. Owls will catch you while you slumber. In the night they'll come for you and tear your crazy legs in two.
I wish I was a teenager in the 90's, the 00's were shit. We had chavs and emos, compared to this MDMA bliss my teenage years were pathetic. Why can't music be like this nowadays?
@moodindigo72 Yes mate.. I remember the Frog well, and the Gin Palace wednesday scene,
and Ceasers with Ceaser the geezer, The world turned upside down on a thursday too , I'd love to do it all again with the same music, same people, same era. Not with the muppets that are out and about nowa days.. they're all wired up wrong lol.
Classic! I miss those days but I would probably be dead if I kept going like I did when I was 16 most fun/completely fucking crazy time of my life. Fun while it lasted though
OMG I cant believe It. To hear this version again, thought it might've been a distant memory, or a dream. So It does actually exist in reality. I dedicate this to an OLD SkOOL Friend
I feel move to reply once more to this magic. It's 20:34 and the sun is starting to colour the sky whilst a cooling breeze is gently dancing past my ears. I feel nothing by yearning for the summers of the 90's. Incredible times with incredible people. Father Time merciless chips away our dreams. Kids, I implore you to take one thing from an older guy. Live your fucking youth to redhot max .Blow the top off! You will know what I meant once you hit 30.
@Rainwarning Totally agree with you there mate. I yearn for those days of listening to music like this without a care in the world. Indeed live your life to the max, and live with no regrets.
Ah man. Me and my best pal Jake. My mum's convertable. Summer '98. Rayban, teeth whitened, big smiles, big sounds, big parties, big summer, big time. Where the fucking hell did those times go. I was living with songs like this setting the soundtrack for my life, all of a sudden I'm 30, all mortgage'd up and fighthing meaningless corporate wars. If it pleases the Lord, give me one weekend back in the summer of '98 so it can clear the cobwebs from my heart's passion!
Dieser Track ist Fantastisch, und war seiner Zeit weit voraus, und könnte heute locker die Charts aufmischen, weil es viel Fahrt hat,sie eine Super Stimme, einfach nur genial!!!LET ME BE YOUR FANTASY,Jeahhhh!!!!
I first heard this on Pete Tongs Essential Selection when he used to drop loads of quality hardcore tracks. Gorgeous tune full of emotion, joy, and nostalgia.

The reason you don't get tracks like this nowadays is because back then, dance music was anti establishment & now it IS the establishment.
Sure fire was to KILL talent AND the music.
Simon Cowell, your days are numbered boy. Who's with me???????
AngelArtists 1 year ago 127
@AngelArtists Yeah most raves I've been to have been just a glorifoed club experience hardly any different from what the mainstream offers, and kids dont know any better. I really love Burial's music b/c it expresses the feeling of longing for something that will never come again
livershot 1 year ago 2

Why can't music be like this nowadays?

and Ceasers with Ceaser the geezer, The world turned upside down on a thursday too , I'd love to do it all again with the same music, same people, same era. Not with the muppets that are out and about nowa days.. they're all wired up wrong lol.
