Back when I first played through Mass Effect, I didn't understand what Charm or Intimidation were (including Paragon and Renegade). So when I got to this point, it was impossible for me to keep Wrex from dying. For the sake of keeping my game as realistic as possible, I didn't restart the mission. It's a shame I've lost such an interesting character for Mass Effect 3.
@Jdog5785 If you do Wrex's mission to reclaim his family armor before you go to Virmire, you'll have the option to talk Wrex down and get him to rejoin you. Option I always go with because Wrex is too awesome to kill.

Ashley put multiple shots into Wrex for a good reason, should you decide to kill him. Krogan are known to have extremely resilient nervous systems, which makes killing them a rather difficult task. The use of two "double-taps" is a good idea when going up against a reptilian alien that possesses a tough hide and a persistent determination.

But at the end of the day, both ways are just too tempting that I finished the game twice and I played with both ways. Though I played ME1 with Paragon, and I used the same save file for ME2, it was glorious. Then I replayed ME2 with Renegade and it was like, 'Don't F*ck with Shepard' :) lol. But I'll continue ME3 with my Paragon save file!

Renegade ones cannot understand the true meaning of saving the Galaxy like a Paragon! My personal experience! I followed the Paragon path through 1 and 2, and I know for certain. The welcome Wrex gave to Sheperd on Tuchenka was just brilliant!

Though many of the choices in the game have good and bad consequences killing wrex is absoulutley pointless because nothing benaficial comes from it the only time you should kil wrex is if you dont have enough renagade or paragon points to do otherwise
um... Wrex was making some pretty good points. Did I miss something here? Was there context missing? or were you just choosing the asshole choices for shepherd?
If you opt for the lower o options, Shepard never bothers to explain anything to Wrex. The exception is the only actual Renegade option (Don't be so naive), where Shepard convinces him Seran is using the Krogan as slaves, nothing more.
Anyhow, played through this game three or four times and never killed Wrex, nor do I ever intend to. He is simply far too epic.
The problem is that if Saren developed a cure for the genophage, he would ABUSE the technology. He would use it to turn the krogans into his brainwashed slave army to overrun the galaxy so we couldn't fight the Reapers.
It's better to let the krogans die than allow them to become Saren's tools. You have to argue that in order to persuade Wrex to see your point, but the player didn't do that in this video, opting for the "pulling rank" strategy which didn't work.
Man, when Ashley killed Wrex, I restarted from the last point I saved and tried to get more Paragon points... I was soooo pissed at her for killing Wrex.

@soma0112 , Shepard makes it pretty clear to her what to do if she sees things are going badly. Even if Shepard lowers his gun, Wrex is still going to kill him (but only if your Shepard is an inarticulate douche). Who's more valuable? Commander Shepard or Urdnot Wrex? Williams makes a judgement call and saves her Commander's life.

Renegade ones cannot understand the true meaning of saving the Galaxy like a Paragon! My personal experience! I followed the Paragon path through 1 and 2, and I know for certain. The welcome Wrex gave to Sheperd on Tuchenka was just brilliant!

But, at the same time, I don't dislike Ashley, either. :P I actually really liked ALL of the crew in ME1... I was sad when I had to choose Kaiden or Ashley to die.

One of my favourite scenes in the games. Not because I dislike Wrex (quite the opposite) but it was something original.

Though many of the choices in the game have good and bad consequences killing wrex is absoulutley pointless because nothing benaficial comes from it the only time you should kil wrex is if you dont have enough renagade or paragon points to do otherwise

If you opt for the lower o options, Shepard never bothers to explain anything to Wrex. The exception is the only actual Renegade option (Don't be so naive), where Shepard convinces him Seran is using the Krogan as slaves, nothing more.
Anyhow, played through this game three or four times and never killed Wrex, nor do I ever intend to. He is simply far too epic.

The problem is that if Saren developed a cure for the genophage, he would ABUSE the technology. He would use it to turn the krogans into his brainwashed slave army to overrun the galaxy so we couldn't fight the Reapers.
It's better to let the krogans die than allow them to become Saren's tools. You have to argue that in order to persuade Wrex to see your point, but the player didn't do that in this video, opting for the "pulling rank" strategy which didn't work.
