I love this movie! When i saw the trailer I thought it was going to suck so I forgot about it for almost a year. Then I saw it was on Netflix and I fell in love with it! Hit Girl and Big Daddy were the real stars in this show because they are just fucking awesome!! And Hit Girl kicks ass. The best part of the entire show is either something she says or when she is in a fight.

KICK-ASS, for me, was like the Bourne Identity: I saw the preview, thougth it wasn't going to be worth seeing, and then, after watching it, was blown away. As for the Nicholas Cage comments, I have to say...shut up. Every director panders by bringing in some big name actor that they think will elevate their movie or that they themselves grew up loving. So, such a selection is no surprise. Why do you think they drag out Malcom McDowell or Robert Englund every now and then?

The problem is that the Second Vowel Shift and Consonant Shift happened in Britain and not in the U.S. explaining why British speakers do not pronounce their r's at the ends of words, why they tend to shorten their syllables, and make the short /a/ sound in words like dance and sample... So both sides of the ocean are pronouncing their words right, but the U.S leans to more archaic pronunciations.
