This video looks amateurish - but maybe intentionaly- if it were too real it would trigger PTSD. I think it is more of an educational video to encourage people to get help rather than an actual attempt to cure.
For someone who isn't well-versed in video games, I doubt there is a huge impact from seeing "Crysis-level" visuals to this. I'm willing to bet most non-gamers just see a video game as a video game. Most of all, those suffering from PTSD will instantly be flooded with awful memories when presented with visuals that resemble the event, be it an exact replication of the images or a rough representation.

Use CryEngine or at least source, but this isnt impacting at all.

looks like an n64 game. a solid attempt to help people with ptsd, but it won't work.
