I was just reminded of my great friend Jean the other day. What a treat to look her up on Wikipedia and then find this video of her talented singing here. She told me she was the voice of Dasy Mae in the 1950s movie, too.

She was a gem! I still miss her.

Hey...I'm an expert on Artie Shaw, and just got a couple of CD's that has otherwise unrecorded IL with Artie,,,if you want, I'll send. She is an excellent musician.
