These Eastern Sudanese have the same culture, dance, religion and speak the same language as those in North West Eritrea :)). Even the music is the same!! amazing!!
This dance as i guess is from Al-Botana an area located between the read see and the nile river. Probabaly this dance is from Al-Bataheen (Arabian) tribe which is famous of gerousity and bravery.
هذه الرقصة على ما أظن من منطقة البطانة الواقعة بين البحر الأحمر ونهر النيل. وأرجح أنها تخص قيبلة البطاحين العربية التي تشتهر بالكرم والشجاعة.

The Hadendawah are not Arabs (Ethnically). They are the Beja of East Egypt, East Sudan & Eritrea. True! They are very brave... Read Rudyard Kipling's Poem FUZZY WUZZY. They are related to Afars, Somalis & Oromos!

Hadandwa have many forms of Dance and this is one of them, normally found eastern Sudan and Eritrea, I grew up with Hadandwa and Hidared, my fav dance...
Yes you're right wedislas. The Bejas have many forms of dances. The Beja people also have shaped a lot of Eritrea's history. For 600 years, they formed the Beja Kingdoms in most of Eritrea. Both Tigre and Tigrinya people descend from ancient Egyptian bejas known as the Medjays. The Medjays migrated to Eritrea around 4,000 years ago, they are the forefathers of Tigre and Tigrinya people. Many cities in Eritrea are named after Bejas.
The same way any person can adopt any languages. I can speak French as a first language, it does not make me of French origins. Before Semitic languages, most of Eritrea's populations spoke Greek as a first language. The Greeks had influnced all of Eritrea for 500 years up till the 4th century AD, when Ge'ez become the dominate language.
There is no such thing as Semitic and Hamatic or cushitic. These are just linguistic terms.
I would like to bring the attention of viewers that this dance is not Hadandwa Dance, it is probabaly belongs to Al Batheen (An Arab Tribe) ilve in Botan and Eat of the Nile River (particularly Northern Blue Nile). Their utmost economical town is Abudlaig. Thanx.
it is too late nasir, the naivasha agreement give southerners to break away. the darfuris now claiming when the south split their own way, they will also split. I hope u will rescue sudan to remain one. Good luck.

Very interesting, when I go to Eritrea next year, and visit my home town Tessenei, I will meet Beja people, like my neighbor Mohamed Druf. Is he Hidareb?
No, Beni Amir are mostly Tigre people. All Beja people name themselves Beni Amir, that's why there's confusion. The Beni Amir is a Clan of the Tigre ethnic group. The Beni Amir Tigre people are capable of speaking Tigre and Beja.
I don't think all Beja people call themselves Bani Amirr. Also, almost all Beja people can speak Tigre and Arabic, as well as their mother language, Bedawie.
Every Beja person identify themselves as a Beni-Amir, however, they all have different clan names, with the exception of Beni-Amir Tigre people, who use it exclusively as their clan name. Beni-Amir means Sons of Amirs. All Beja people see themselves as Sons of Amir. It's the same way as Tigre and Tigrinya claiming Habesha but both have different ethnic names.
The Kraar is used in Sudan, Egypt, Ethiopia. In Israel they use the Harp which resembles the kraar. The beja call it Mosonko, and in Arabic it is called Tamboorr.
How do you know so much? I read some of your comments on videos and you seem to know a lot about horn of African ethnic groups....big ups to you bro...
