  • I guess the best afternoon show of '85, Robotech, was on channel 25?

  • So good to hear the announcing voice of Meg LaVigne again. She and Dana Hersey were the voices of TV38.

  • back then OTA stations were awesome. today its all crap

  • i remember watching that line up on tv 38. they show crappy cartoons today

  • I know. The WB can't even get Scooby Doo right.

  • I know what you mean. It's just not the same without William Hanna and Joe Barbera. :(

  • My mother told me that Sundays most channels have movies on and I told her "I don't want movies on Sundays! I want cartoons on Sundays!"

  • Yeah, most 80s kids like me had no idea that we'd be the last generation to have this much airtime devoted to shows geared towards our age group...oh, and TV-38 was prolly the only station that carried reruns of Punky Brewster for at least 6 straight years!

  • I noticed Cartoons are shown only on the weekends

  • Yeah it's been that way for a little while now. First Fox, then the WB/CW, and now UPN/MNTV.

I really wish that these stations would be a little bit more laxed about what they choose to air because now it's just shit.

I've been reading now that 4KTV is now planning to put it's anime slot on the CW Network and that the Kids WB will end starting in January. I mean how fucked up is that?

  • Ah, the good ole' days when cartoons ruled the airwaves on weekday afternoons. I wish broadcast TV would still do that today if they wanted to.
