Nice.Thanks for posting. This is one of the few songs I discovered for the first time in a jukebox. Wanted to hear the flip side "Don't Ask Why" but pushed the wrong buttons by mistake and got this (unknown to me to me then) tune which I like even better. Both are fine melodies, obviously. Also like the French verse, though I never applied it to any romantic overtures and have been wondering since whether it is actually completely grammatically correct. Any native speakers here who can comment?

Sad that this is one of his lesser known songs. I have loved since I first heard it when I was about 5, and for me is what I first think of when I hear the name Billy Joel. The song actually tells a great story.
