a pox on all your comments. All I can say is that I enjoyed them in katie reillys on the waterford tramore road. Yes I would have given angela de burca one. Still would.
Gerry Ryan still on RTE with the same type programme 23 years later. So sad. RTE, despite thinking they are challenging, are a bit like the Catholic hirerarchy of old, a monolithic, dogmatic organisation with archbishop type figures (kenny, joe duffy, ryan and even Fanning) pontificating.... sad, sad, sad.
In Tua Nua's unreleased album 'When Night Came Down On Sunset'is now available on iTunes. Larry Gogan made it RTE Radio 2FM's album of the day recently.
Thanks for that Optophonic...but who went down... where....? Your taking me back to the car park outside the Fountain Blue in Longford but best say no more or we could find ourselves in the same boat as the Stoker did!!! Actually it is "When night CAME down on sunset".
In Tua Nua's unreleased album 'When Night Went Down On Sunset' recorded for Virgin Records back in 1989 just before they broke up is now available on iTunes.
Whatcha mean 'Great violin playing Aingeala'? The violin is not as wooden as the playing. What a loss Steve Wickham was to In Tua Nua and what a boon to The Waterboys. Compare his playing on "The Pan Within" or "Medicine Bow" with this crud from Miss Narcissist 1987! Look at the 'look-at-me' entrance! She killed the entire group in more ways than that. But then a lot of people were "Briefly Acquainted!"
unfortunately people tended to talk about The vocalist & violinist rather than the songs, great stuff tho.

@metal1313 ..... not even Wendy James. Better than Wendy James and Debbie Harry. Awesome track. Stuff at end seems to drag a bit

I think We have another self aid again and Ceann Comhairle John O'Donoghue should be MC.
Then we could brick the cunt out of it with Rotten Tomatoes stuffed with Dog Shite.

bruler68 grudges other men their fame? It would be sad, sad, sad if his partner had to cope with his fans.
I googled a great group - really happy to have found one. Saved as Favourites : )
