BTW, If the competition is still receiving some responses to video TODAY, it would be reasonable to accept this last entries. I think some other guys thought like this too.

We are all in different time zones and run on different schedules, it would be extremely helpful if you could be accommodating.

with all respect, I do not like the back track, it is a pretty generic metal backtrack which I am tired to hear around. I will wait for another chance that may never come with a better backtrack not so generic.
Hey Chappers, I saw some vids which were edited, you know, like one moment the frame is on the guy playing then the very next second it jumps to another totally different frame, showing multiple takes. So are we allowed to do that? Or does it have to be one take right from the beginning to the end.

@Joshmv14 The key is E phrygian dominant. The chords are E7 and F#m7. I have seen some entries where people have transposed it, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's allowed so don't hold me to it!!
@Joshmv14 Yeah it's right in your ball park then! Just remember that you can use g natural and g sharp over the E to spice things up a bit. Diminshed scale ideas are always fun!

@CoreThrasherGLB The majority of it fits well in A minor / E Phrygian (As it feels rooted in E), but there is a second part which changes to B minor. That's how I played it anyway. :D

@ww007ka its kinda in E Phrygian/Phyrigian Dominant modulating to F Sharp Minor(Dorian aeolian and phrygian seem to work over it) thats how i think of it anyway

I'm 14 and I haven't even been playing guitar for a year yet, I thought if I worked hard on it possibly I could have some chance of winning! I clicked on the first entry I saw... my hopes were crushed XD

@ww007ka its kinda in E Phrygian/Phyrigian Dominant modulating to F Sharp Minor(Dorian aeolian and phrygian seem to work over it) thats how i think of it anyway
