@Lilin1989 It depends....if you buy cheaper flat irons, they're probably metal with gold painting over it, or you actually invest in a good one that's 100% ceramic.

I have a pair of CHI irons and I highly recommend them! I bought them at a JCP salon (on sale ofcourse!) and as long as you keep the box and the reciept they'll replace it if it breaks (for life!). I'm transitioning form relaxed to natural so I try not to put as much heat on my hair, but when I do want it straight, I just pull out the trusty ol' CHI's!! Great video- I felt your exhaustion and satisfaction at the end because I've been there before too! I might have to do a vid response :)

what a great tutorial! i personally like the style of the maxiglide flat iron but if i have to use an actual iron, i like the amika iron... i wanted to get a gvp but decided to wait after my no heat challenge! oh and i love your blogspot! lol

yea i heard the instyler is good but its not ceramic. its metal so its most likely you'll get more damage from the metal plate! hth
