@78thrown i mean everyone has there own opinon about music, but to me a great rock band comes out with consistently awesome albums that sell a lot and to me acdc does that. They have a sound and they stick with it. Aerosmith to me, they peaked in th 70s and they had some good and bad albums. GNR Paradise city, November Rain, Civil War, Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child O Mine, You Could be Mine, Knockin on Heavens door. Can think of any others.

@8jjr1 Wow sure i can name 15 awesome songs from Aerosmith. They have a huge collection of good songs (Largest than AC/DC, I think) because they started in the 70's and they are still playing now.

When you search on google "Aerosmith" only their songs from the 90-2000 appear but not the 70's which is the best part of their carreer (so underrated)...Only 3 songs survived to now (Dream on, Sweet Emotion, Walk This Way) : Just listen to this stuff: "Last Child"; "Train kept a rollin"

ACDC has produced more consistent rock, their black ice tour was the second highest grosing rock tour of all time, back in black was top 5 for most popular rock albums im pretty sure and Angus Young is a way better guitarist then Joe Perry and Slash, And if you dont believe me listen to GNR cover of whole lotta rosie.
