Keep in mind it is running of a micro sd after all you cant expect truly amazing performance out of that.

Once they get all the bugs fixed and the official nod of approval by Nokia then you'll see what meego really has to offer, but at this phase its simply for developers only, its not meant for the general public but is available for download

Cool down guys..! this is MeeGo 1.1 Pre-Alfa for developers. The public release will be the MeeGo 1.3. So we have to wait until that for judging MeeGo. I hope it is more powerful than any other mobile OS. Because the project is hosted by Intel, to get more support to there ATOM. And the handset coming with MeeGo will be based on Intel's Moorestown Platform.

the n900 is cool phone but the meego (1.1 is beta i think) is very slow on both videos

i will stay for now with my n8 and symbian and see how will be the meego with the n9

MeeGo 1.3 is the official PUBLIC release. Anything else its just for testing and developers.

It's running on an micro SD card :P . They suggest using a Class 6 card. Otherwise, it's slower.
