In the past 10 years or so, those German cars, apart from their luxury, have gained an outstanding reputation for being some of the least reliable motor vehicles you can buy. Arent some of those Mercedes cars made in Mexico?? I know Mexican-manufactured cars are some of the crappiest of all crap on the planet.

truth be told, this is actually a video of how the government is destroying the "clunkers" in the "Cash for Clunkers" program.

I thought that too. Although frankly, this is a much more dignified way of "disposing" of the clunker (if that were the case): looks like the engine was removed judging from the front end sitting high and most of the trim was salvaged, including the hubcaps. It's a Euro model W116 that looks like it had a good life. A proper Viking funeral for it, I think is very dignified :-)
