Serena kicked in 5th gear and turned the notch up. Won the 2nd set and won the 3rd..What about appreciating great tennis? They didn't have an Aussie player good enough so they "adopted" Kim because of Hewitt..Serena was just a better player. They didn't appreciate it & booed her continuously!

They get involved in the matches, but not to the point where they set out to abuse the athlete.

But this happens all the time in tournaments other than FO and other sports.
