Capital gains tax is currently 15%. This is charged to the garbage handlers, policeman, teachers, etc., that buy/sell stocks of let's say Coca Cola or their 401K plan buys and sells them. Currently 100,000,000 Americans buy/sell stock. 50% of the people that buy/sell stock make less than $50,000 a year. Obama wants to double the rate to 28% (even though he admits raising the capital gains tax lowers revenues because it suppresses investment in America). Obama simply doesn't like capitalism.

The top 10% pay a majority of the income taxes in this country and are taxed the most. That's hardly fair. But on another not, you're absolutely right, there are some drawbacks to the man that I won't deny. His healthcare plan is awful, he's not a great speaker or orator, and some of his economic policies are dicey at best. But here's the deal, I support McCain because I think he is most qualified to deal with the Iraq situation, and will keep our taxes low. I could say more but I have no room.

Capital gains tax is currently 15%. This is charged to the garbage handlers, policeman, teachers, etc., that buy/sell stocks of let's say Coca Cola or their 401K plan buys and sells them. Currently 100,000,000 Americans buy/sell stock. 50% of the people that buy/sell stock make less than $50,000 a year. Obama wants to double the rate to 28% (even though he admits raising the capital gains tax lowers revenues because it suppresses investment in America). Obama simply doesn't like capitalism.

What the hell is going on here...We are aloud to speak and write freely on a campaign sponsored youtube ad. In a forum designed for that exact purpose, and nevermore so needed than in political discussions in an election cycle. God you would think you were in a free country or something.

You're an asshole gallomex. John McCain can't reach his hands above his head because he was tortured brutally in vietnam. Don't make fun of him for that. By the way, John McCain has said that Obama himself is not an elitist but his comments were. And there is no question that he does follow a liberal out of touch political ideology.
