  • fuck yeah i love this guitar!..by the way, what delay do you use??

  • OH! I remember the lick. Yeah, I *did* see this video, lol

  • Cool video and nice guitar. One last thing...you need to say "PLAY IT SLOW" more times because people just miss that. I have a couple of students and every week is the same thing..."slow down".

I have to get a Charvel. What amp are you using here?

  • I really wanna thank you dude! I somehow used this riff more as a way of improving my hammer-ons and pull-offs than as a speed building excercise, but it greatly improved my playing!

It greatly affected my playstyle and I play a lot less sloppy now, thanks!

  • @DirectXTC hey man im so glad that that video helped you that is my one and only goal with these vids . really makes me happy when people say these vids help i just uploaded part 2 of these videos so make sure you check it out to . thanks again for the nice comment :)

  • I highly recommend using metronome while doing these kind of exercises. Helps alot! Not sure if I missed you saying that in your video but if you didn't I pointed it out : )

  • @TorppeV lol i think i said it for like a brief sec in the video but yes metronomes are very important

  • just checking out some of your other videos. I love how you add comedy to these as well.. Makes em more fun! Glad to see you're not like some of these other dudes on here who think they're the ultimate guitarist, then you piss your pants from laughing when they start playing cause they suck so bad!!

  • @SpookeyEyeGhost thanks man i def dont think im the best i just try to do my own thing. i know what you meen by people talking big but when they play the notes your like what are you hearing man lol

  • Great lesson but can't stop laughing at the end XD

  • This video helps a whole lot. I needed some help trying to get away from playing mostly legato style licks. Much appreciated.

  • @DirectXTC no prob buddy hope it helps

  • Which effects are you using?

  • @sanyamjain1989 little delay and some reverb to get that 80's tone lol

  • @rguitar Thanks for your reply. May i ask from where are you getting the distortion there. If it is out of a stomp box, then which one?

    Thanks

  • @sanyamjain1989 its just the amps distortion no pedals at all amp delay and amp reverb to :) its a Fender Gdec the original sadly they dont make them anymore . If you ever get to buy a used one or by chance new i recomend you get it there an amazing amp
