@carguy379 no they are different, UQD adds slickness and water beading while quik detailer adds no protection but is a great lubricant that will not eat away the clay

i've noticed that in a few Meguiar's vids showing how to apply wax, tape is used to do a particular section. is this handy for everyone wanting to wax their car? or just used as a demonstration to show the before and after result? also i found that after doing my bonnet, 1 of my 2 clay bars was quite dirty. next i did the roof with the 2nd clay bar and am wondering if i can get more use out of them? or replace with new ones?

@SSIKness666 tape was used for demonstration purposes. You should use clay bars over and over while kneeding them to always get to a clean side.

@12danny21 UQD is for maintaining the exterior for paint only normally and is used between waxing the vehicle. UQW is used for wet/dry/shade/ or even sun environments to add wax protection to the vehicle when the surface becomes too dry and needs to add the darkness and wax protection to it. Both can be used at different times during the vehicles life.

@12danny21 unfortuantly this product is not made in bulk for professionals. This product is only for the consumer market, but if you provide me with where you live, I could send you the right place to buy multiple small bottles.

@contractki11er yes one kit can do one full size car and yes it removes things like road tar. If its really stuck on, you may want to try Meguiar's bug and tar remover for Old or REALLY stuck on things like tar and sap.

No UQD or UQW would be the last step you would do AFTER one of our waxes. UQD is to be used after the wax to maintain it.
