i'm from brazil and i love stryper to death, they are my favorite musicians,i was impressed with soldiers under command and to hell with the devil, but against the law is a perfect album, only powerful songs, and michael sings perfectly on this album,he screams a lot on this album,so its perfect, the best rock album on this earth
Just listened to 3 Stryper albums before getting to this one, my first time ever(have known of the major ones though) and this first song just reminds me of the sign of the times, all the bands became way more heavier and a bit darker, Kiss, Priest, Maiden, Scorpions, etc....thanks to grunge.
Man grunge wasn't anything until '92. All that stuff you're talking about...this album, Painkiller etc. Came out in '91 or before. Grunge was a waste of 10 years.
i think this is Stryper's version of Motley's 'Dr Feelgood' they always taken from Motley... "To Hell w. The Devil" ...?... " Shout at the Devil"...?... ironic.. ? no way
3rd best Stryper album along with IGWT and THWTD

It doesn't sound like Dr Feelgood. Its just both songs have a heavy groove.
